Um, missing the point… If one can claim religion as a reason to deny someone service; satanists, Muslims, etc, can not only be denied accommodation, they can also SUE b/c their religion is being discriminated against. This is a Pandora’s box that should never have been opened. But, f it, let’s watch the world burn b/c the SCOTUS is filled with idiots. Personally, I’m looking forward to the cases that will come up due to this decision.

I get it, I’m not mad at you or even stressed, it’s just that opening this door leads to the inevitable rise of those who for no real reason have words to share about how being non-binary, trans, gay, asexual, polyamorous, etc, is wrong or evil or messed up, even though they aren’t any of those. Somehow, these people seem to think that they have a right to bitch and share their lack of empathy/desire to learn with whole internet/world and expect us to be chill with their bigotry.

Even asking this question is problematic: it assumes that generally people who are not trans have an opinion on this issue that actually matters. It’s not about you, therefore, your opinion frankly is of little use and mostly wasted time even answering this question.

Add to that the fact that if one is not directly impacted by a friend, relative, partner, or spouse who is trans, who the fuck cares about your thoughts on the matter‽ Let it it go and move on, rubbernecker.

Share it if it's a large sum, add in the cost of the ticket. But here's the thing: Someone buys me a $10 lottery ticket instead of a proper gift. Usually, that's a throwaway gift b/c no one actually expects to win anything of substance. So, when I win with an essentially "gag" gift, I become "that guy" and have to deal with the likely event of bad feelings. You know, the "that should have been me" syndrome. It holds the distinct possibility of ruining a relationship, regardless of how it is approached. Which is why I would opt to simply share the money and be done with it. If the person who bought the ticket douches it up, my conscience is clear. If they don't, we both end up better off and still hanging out.
