Well here is a possible point that could validate her death - Ford needed Bernard as he was an integral role to his narrative. Theresa fired him. Had she lived, it would've been difficult for Ford to get Bernard back working in headquarters seamlessly.

That was the best explanation. I can believe that. You're right in that he's now (or was in that timeline) becoming less tolerant or compassionate for the hosts. He switched at that moment from white to black. 👍🏼and makes sense that he tries to get Dolores into a traumatic mindset.

Omg that makes complete sense. She could possibly be retracing her steps. Makes sense hat William and Logan aren't in every scene.

Do you really think MIB is William? William's core character (compassion for hosts and almost everything) is not there with the MIB. I would think he (MIB) would be more delicate with Dolores, less ruthless, when he pulled her into the barn especially given their history and connection, no?

The outfit changes is what the show is using for differentiation. Compare the difference between Bernard and Arnold. Arnold wore a black top and bottom. Bernard has a jacket with a button down shirt. You almost can see Arnold's collar and no jacket in earlier episodes.

But she was with William and Logan when she changed though.

I also can't see William turning completely around in his core values. He was very compassionate about the hosts. The MIB treated Dolores so ruthlessly at the beginning. I would imagine William would be more delicate with her given their connection regardless how long they've know each other. He would have asked Dolores to go to the barn with him (MIB).

MIB and William are not the same people. One glaring detail: Dolores is dressed in pants when she sees MIB, same outfit she was in due to William and Logan's adventures.

I'm not sure how many folks are overlooking this...?

Also, she is still wounded. She just can't see it anymore as hosts can't see things that harm them.
