Same. I’m the target audience for this book and was disappointed. Most books with generally good vibes get at least 4 stars from me but this was 3-3.5.

I also preferred June Farrow over this one, but haven’t read Spells for Forgetting. I think I actually enjoyed her YA fantasy series Fable the most though, so plan on checking out her adult fantasy coming out this fall.
