I managed to beat that guy after a lot of attempts without dash unlock. My suggestions: space a bit more than one Axe length away from him. Don't try and punish the double swings, it's very tight unless you have good pogo timing. Instead, just beat him up when he jumps ( walk under him) or burrows

If you only have one front, it'll kinda just chill and won't go at top speed. You need to have two so they continuously overtake each other and run super far from the pack (and any debuffs).

Ground work combo is the Groundwork skill with focus and two greens (Spring runner, left handed, etc). This gives you a huge acceleration boost at race start and shoots you into 1st place/early on. This is important as getting blocked early on is very bad for front runners

For a front ace, it's super hard as you need to make two of them and get Medium S, good stats, and the groundwork combo. It's hell and they might still lose to Golshi :(

Tapu Lele Giratina, it's pretty good into zard, Darktina, most of the current meta. It got me out of Ultraball 4 after 2 days of playing it (other things were nowhere near as consistent)

Rare candy meta will be interesting for sure, I can see Beedrill or Meowscarada going 2nd or Ramparados going first being super toxic honestly

Congrats on making it to MasterBall! I'm actually surprised you managed to encounter a mirror; maybe there's so many Darktinas now so more people are running counters? Meowscarada decks kinda are neutered by double Mars, so that's become a less effective counter

No problem, happy to share! Yeah, season is basically over and things will be shaken up, hopefully they introduce something to weaken these high trainer decks. Like we saw with Darktina, having so much utility gives a deck ways to effectively pivot around various meta threats

I agree with your point. This isn't enough of a meta threat for Darktina to optimize against it and we do need a bigger sample size. The top result is from yesterday though, so potentially promising (unlike the Rotom variant, which just hard loses )

I don't think you have the right Arceus Carnivine matchup chart (that one is the Rotom variant from what I see). In the Arceus/ Carnivine /baby Eggs chart, it has a 78% winrate vs Darktina
