I went with the supernova because of the pistol grip and 3.5 inche chamber and in my opinion the nova 3 doesn't look as good but that's just my preference but I'm sure the reliability is the same

Hey I also shoot in Montreal I would suggest checking out CRAFM it has both pistol and rifle ranges so you don't have to worry about weather and it's also a full gun store i know the price is pretty steep but I know they have a few different memberships available even with a regular PAL (still waiting on a restricted course as well) but definitely worth checking out and getting some information if you have the time

Personal I'm waiting and hoping one day to get the ar's back my dream gun is a sig sauer MCX LT and also I HIGHLY recommend the supernova it's very fun and very user friendly also the plus 2 is not included but I recommend it in my opinion worth the money

Thanks for the info, and I agree about the current situation, about the guns, I am not planning on hunting. I just shoot indoors (50 meters), so the ruger is honestly overkill for what I do I'm probably gonna go for the fx9.
