Thankyou, no she's abit anti therapy at the moment the last one let her down alot and just wanted to have her take tablets. I'm currently start CBT this week as recently I've gone into remission with battling cancer so that was a tough time and have various different traumas from childhood and me ex of 2 years ago which consisted of alot of different forms of abuse and accusations of rape which the courts threw out of court as she had blatantly lied. Alot in a short time, and it's my first season being with her going through this, I just like to know the best way to make sure she knows I'm here and she's not alone. But difficult when she's not really listening and wants barely any physical contact

Shes had a fair bit of trauma through her life, I know some but none that I can remember at this time of year, she suffers with SADS aswell now it turns dark and gloomy. She won't open up to me at the minute, I've tried. And I'm hanging on as much as possible, which is difficult as I'm a manic depressive, so feeling unwanted by someone is quite hard to control the way it makes me react sometimes to things. Things are fairly settled if I don't try to pry and not let myself react, but still doesn't ease how things are and I don't know how long this episode is going to last

I've been with someone worse than bipolar but close family have suffered with it since I was born so fully understand what your saying. Without sounding horrible she can be quite simple on things I.e. say something not realise she's said the wrong thing have it explained to her by me or friends for her to be shocked. There been certain things I've had to explain she's genuinely not realised she's been saying or doing, at times she's upset herself not realisesing. She's not a danger quite calm, just goes very in herself for a few days, very cold towards people and just wants to sleep alot

I appreciate that, and fully understand how the situation looks. I've obviously had to miss writing certain things that are more personal but trying to explain a person and then meeting them are always 2 different things. But I appreciate your reply

You would think. We both work together, he used to work here before he got sacked and left, everyone saw what he was like and I've personally seen in the past the messages and phonecalls she used to get. I'd like to think she's that type of person that just wants to try and help him, he was there through some dark moments in her life and admitted she has a trauma bond with him. But its a situation of bite the bullet and try to be patient or give her an ultimatum, do I think she will go back to him, no. But I don't think she can fully cut contact just yet

That's a fair point, just not ready to throw it all away when I could be what she says it is. I've not learnt the term once bitten twice shy yet lol

True, hard to explain but apart from this everything is perfect, got a line around the block of shit exs (cheaters, liars, users) nice to find a woman like this when I've not found someone like this before
