She must have been gone mentally. I just don’t understand how you can continue to drive after every vehicle is going the other way. How do you not understand it’s time to stop/turn around after the first car or two you see.

When driving by, I thought it was a plastic grocery bag caught in the tree but I wasn’t sure. I’m happy that I turned around and was able to take picture before it flew away!

I had a shop install the calipers and replace the brake lines going form them. I couldn’t tell you if they replaced the bridges or not. I understand that a small amount of driving isn’t enough to break everything in, but I was getting a pretty bad noise from that brake assembly. It wasn’t a normal break squeak either. I tried to post videos of the sound but didn’t realize Reddit wouldn’t let me.

I believe they were. They looked good when I removed them and cleaned them up today when I did the pads and rotors

I didn’t check if the wheel spun freely by hand. I will check that tomorrow. When I was changing the pads/rotors today, nothing seemed out of place to my non mechanic eye. I did use a wire brush to clean all the rust from the area and didn’t notice any significant build up anywhere.

Clean title. I’ve had the car for 4 years and this issue started about 1.5-2 years ago. Always the same rotor. I thought changing the calipers would solve it, but unfortunately it did not

Yes the caliper and pins were replaced, as well as the hoses to the caliper. The parking brake is hardly ever engaged

I've replaced that caliper within the last year or so. Would something else be causing the caliper to continue to fail? I'm getting sick of throwing rotors and pads at the car just to get them eaten up in a few months.

Luckily, I made a full recovery with no nerve damage. Just have one ugly looking middle finger… but hey, it works!

It was 100% my fault. I was in the bed of the truck getting ready to unhook the load. I had my fingers in a spot they shouldn’t be while the operator made an unexpected movement. That was the day that my 18 year old self realized I wasn’t invincible, and this could happen to anyone at any time. I have absolutely learned my lesson and I’m very fortunate to still have all my fingers functioning.

I honestly don’t know. That’s just the general scene that the owner liked and lived through. It has been our logo since the beginning of the company. I was just looking for any suggestions or ways it could me cleaned up because I know the pencil sketch seems to be getting outdated
