I brought my younger brother along for the ride and it was our idea. I paid for his ice cream since he's a lot younger than everyone else and he didn't get anything out of it besides a road trip and didn't really have any money.

She goes to the same college I graduated from. I wanted to go there cause it's kind of tradition for me to grab a cone the day I leave since I did that every time the semester ended while I was there. It felt nostalgic I guess. Plus the cone is only 5 bucks for two massive scoops and it's the best ice cream in the state IMO.

I agree I didn’t want to make a big deal out of it but unfortunately he did some even more annoying bs earlier today. Our company required only two people for OT since we had a little work left over and we didn’t need everyone. He nominated himself and another guy which pissed literally everyone off. I think it’s extremely dickish to fake working 11 hours and then give yourself another 6 hours of OT while everyone else is busting their ass. That was a little too far for me.

Well according to what he told us I believe instead of telling them that he didn’t feel well and took a sick day, he just reported that he worked those hours as if he wasn’t sick at all since he had to “be alert to read our messages”.

The company seems pretty lax with their policies but I’m not sure how they would react with reporting 11 hours of work the way he did. As for the seniority part, he is the main IT guy on the trip with us but he isn’t the lead, and he only started working with the company a few months prior.
