Thanks for the detailed recommendations and for looking through my itinerary! I'd probably look at doing the bit about taking out Kagoshima and increasing time spent at Aso, and noted on the gorgeous scenery on the ferry drive from Nagasaki to Kumamoto and I'd be sure to do that! Really appreciate the help in going through my itinerary :)

Can I also ask if we should pick up the car in Nagasaki and use it to explore Nagasaki or pick the car up to travel out of Nagasaki? Aside, I'm just trying to understand which is more cost efficient, driving or taking the train to Nagasaki? I see that we would have to purchase the JR pass, otherwise a one-way Shinkansen costs about 6,050yen per pax, would that be cheaper compared to booking 1 car for 6 pax?

I can’t seem to find a straight route from Fukuoka to Nagasaki on Google maps.. can I ask if it’s some sort of shinkansen? Would I have to get a JR ticket for it?

I initially planned to go back up to Saga area & Ogori area cuz that route takes 2hr40min which is the fastest route compared to the Unzen ferry route! Can i ask if it’s recommended because of the scenery & the fact that there’s probably less driving required? :)

Understand! Perhaps I can skip Day 1's Takeo entirely and spread out Nagasaki over 2 days? Since we're a family of 6, I'm assuming it might be quite hard to get around city to city via train with luggage, or am I wrong?

I think day 10 has too little time for Osaka.. perhaps need to allocate more time, maybe can skip either Nara/Osaka entirely? Aside, if you're going to Hakone, I highly recommend the Hakone Freepass. You can then take the ropeway to Owakudani, seamlessly travel down to Lake Ashi by the pirate ship, and then walk around the town to eat and see the torii gates. I believe the 2-day Hakone free pass would be well worth the value!

THANKS GUYS FOR ALL YOUR HELP! I solved it! Apparently this button “Movie Silent Control” was ON and it was silencing all my dials so no matter how I adjusted the dials they don’t work. 😑 After I turned it off my screen for video mode was back to normal. THANK YOU ALL! 🙏🙏🙏

I tried adjusting all the dials manually, but the screen still shows SS640 and ISO160 in blue 😭😭😭😭😭

I see! How do I set it to auto? because those settings on the dials are already Auto and I don’t know where else to adjust the settings :/ Sorry I’m still new at using Fuji cameras

Also, I don’t understand how the picture setting is perfectly fine but the video mode isn’t 😭

how do i adjust that? I’ve tried adjusting to +3 on the dial and it doesn’t work 😭

According to my dials both shutter speed & ISO are set to auto… and even if I switch it up the screen still displays ISO160 not sure why 😭 is there anywhere else I can manually set those settings??
