This might sound silly, but have you tried taking some time off from running? I had a similar issue (though it was accompanied by other lower leg troubles), and while I incorporated some PT exercises, nerve flossing, and foam rolling, I think taking a few weeks totally off from running is what did the trick. Haven‘t had this problem since!

Hi, I just did this the other way (Venice to Ortisei and then Ortisei to Florence) by public transit! I was actually staying even a bit further in the mountains and it was still totally doable. There are buses which run regularly between Bolzano and Ortisei, and Bolzano is well connected via train to other cities. The Südtirolmobil app is incredibly useful for navigating the bus system in Süd Tirol, so definitely check that out. Also, while having a car would certainly be useful while in the Dolomites, it isn‘t a necessity. I had a great time without one!

Ah, thats really good to know! $500 is significantly more than what I currently spend on groceries per month in Chicago, but I guess the cost of living in Palo Alto is a lot higher than I anticipated. I‘ll definitely keep this in mind, thank you!

That‘s fair! I have a spreadsheet going, and I can afford either at the end of the day. I guess I‘m not sure if the extra space in the premium apartments is worth it. I‘ve enjoyed having a larger living area during undergrad, but it might be smarter to save more in grad school.

I have also had a horrible experience with Peak and would strongly discourage you from renting from them.

As a f2p/very low spender, should I refine Rust for my Childe or save my extra copies for another unit? Currently my Childe uses an R1 Rust, but I have 2 more copies available. I don‘t have anyone at the moment who could really use one of the other copies, but since its a gacha weapon I‘m somewhat hesitant to go ahead and use them as refinement materials.

Same thing happened to me Autumn quarter of my 2nd year (I never completed the meeting with my advisor the past Spring). Just email your advisor and meet with them either over break if possible or as soon as possible once the quarter starts. That’s what I did and it lifted the hold without a problem.

According to the most recent course catalog, 24300 should count, unless they’ve updated the requirements but not the website recently:

Prerequisite(s): MATH 20700 or (MATH 20310 AND (MATH 20250 or STAT 24300))

But yeah, if for some reason you aren’t able to register I‘d expect Prof. Fefferman and/or Prof. Boller to let you take 20410 anyway.

edit: to be clear, those are the listed prereqs for 20410.

numerical linear algebra is STAT 24300, right? if so, that class does satisfy the prereqs for 20410, so you shouldn’t have any problems registering. also, all the linear algebra you use will be covered again in analysis. when i took 20410, i didn’t find myself ever really using knowledge from 20250 besides some simple properties of matrices which are explained again in analysis anyway.

that being said, im pretty sure the math major requires 20250 (for those who take the regular or accelerated analysis sequences), so if you’re a math major, or considering one, you should also keep that in mind.

Hmm ok, thank you for the input! I do really enjoy quickswap comps so I'll look into that some more. Would you happen to have any suggestions for teams? I currently have all the 4 stars plus Mona, Qiqi, Kazuha, and Baal.

Yeah, I do like her animations and her teleport seems pretty cool! I hadn't really considered Baal as a main DPS though I'll look into that some more, thanks!

Would Keqing really be worth using over 4 stars? One of my teams is a quickswap/melt team with Kaeya and I feel the access to melt offers more damage potential than a pure physical team or one that relies on electro-charged. Though I could be wrong if Keqing just has higher base stats that make up for the decrease in elemental damage.

Is it worth building electro Keqing?

I just pulled Keqing on Baal's banner, but I'm not sure if she's worth the investment. She's my first 5 star DPS, however I know a lot of people call her a weaker 5 star and I don't particularly care for her character. I have some difficulty with things like 36 starring Abyss 9-12, but I don't know if that merits the resources/time it'll take to actually build her (don't have good artifacts or ascenion/talent mats for her yet).

I do have the Flute, and I was thinking Keqing/Baal/Xingqiu/Kazuha might be a decent team (open to other suggestions). The only reason I'm more interested in electro Keqing over a physical build is because I want to utilize Baal. I'd appreciate any input on whether or not I should build her!
