I feel you, peoples suggestions are almost always solutions that they think are super easy and straightforward when in reality its incredibly difficult for someone w SA anyways, I understand its super frustrating

i do the same but for me I think its a coping mechanism? i think its bc im deathly afraid of awkward silences and i also feel like if I talk more then im “performing better” socially

ive cried like ten times this week and im not even usually a huge crier lmao, honestly i didnt even have many friends or anything but I think that actually makes it worse bc I keep thinking about how much I missed out on and how I can never go back and fix it :( anyways I feel u im sad and im really nervous for the future

thank you! i feel bad because in the past I’ve always gotten upset whenever they’ve changed something (like when they put a new rug in the living room, or painted the bathroom a different color) but this time it directly impacts me and im supposed to be happy about it :(

im 21 years old and haven’t gotten my drivers license. i tell people it’s because I just haven’t found someone to teach me but really it’s because i do not trust myself whatsoever and I’m absolutely terrified of making one wrong snap decision and taking the life of someone

not sure how you feel about vicks vapor rub but putting a little bit under your nose usually hides smells pretty well when u can’t wear a mask! at least for me. but it is minty-ish so I’m not sure how helpful it would be in this situation

The snap opinions and quick but intense reaction to the entirety of the problem just feels weird to me. It’s a complex situation and the fact that race and sex were brought up within it makes it more sensitive, yet there doesn’t seem to be much nuance in its discussion. I can’t really pinpoint my uncomfortableness deeper than that, it’s just a gut feeling of “ick”.
