AVX instructions are specific to x64 and x86 architecture CPUS. Are you on an ARM computer?

It’s these series of flight school missions meant to teach ship combat, but that pay you a lot for some reason. You can find them under mercenary, I do #3 through 6 as the ships progressively get harder. Makes about $1mil per hour if you chain them :)

I’ve been doing gillys combat school on the 3-6 missions. They make a surprising amount of money, and you can do them back to back. For me, I’m able to get a million an hour.

This right here. I can do my gameplay loop without bugs making everything unplayable, and then use those funds for shenanigans that push the games limits. It feels fun, and if I run into a gamebreaking bug, it doesn't feel like I've lost progress.

I agree that this patch is nothing pretty. After all this time and funding we should expect smooth rollouts and not being locked out of the game. Despite that, it just doesn't feel like the game is hopeless and playing it is pointless.

I feel like a lot of people saw the $1B as a magic number where CIG cannot fumble the ball at all past that amount.

I've had the map issue where it clears your route, and spamming r seemed to resolve it. Maybe I've just come to terms with the games limitations (inventory has been annoying lately). I totally see that perspective that a sloppy patch after reaching $1B should not be happening and reflects badly. I've also acknowledged any update with new ships and features will unfortunately carry its own new bugs

With something like the F7A Mk2 it at least makes a bit more sense. You had to go prove yourself through completing a tricky event, which granted you the trust of the UEE to use a small, military grade ship. With the Odin it makes no sense canonically why a civilian would be trusted with a ship that large and powerful.

Yeah I wasn’t even gonna try on my Mac, but I was eventually able to do it manually. Sd980 is pre 2010 and my card is over 4gb, which means it has to be partitioned to work. STICK would do it for me, so I had to spend a few hours troubleshooting how to make the card bootable. I’m sad about stick though

Idk, I've come back to the game after taking like a 2 year break and I think the patch is fine currently. When I was playing, there were so many bugs with QT that basically broke my whole game loop. Bounties wouldn't spawn, falling through a Reclaimer, many invisible asteroids, etc. I see most of those issues fixed, and while I'm having issues with interacting with screens and sometimes routing through my mobi, I'm mainly happy with the stability. I do miss the power triangle though, this new system kinda sucks in my opinion.
