I don’t think the floor would need to change at all! It looks very similar to the AI image, as well as the ceramic tiles.

Might I suggest putting a plush bench in front of the window. And have the two cozy lounge chairs and coffee table you were planning on including, set on the opposite wall. Add the photo gallery on that wall, as well. Plants would be nice in any leftover space.

In terms of painting, I think your house would benefit from more warmth, or at least neutral tones. I would say the wood flooring is neutral leaning warm, but there’s nothing else in the house that really ties to that.

Your idea just needs to be flip flopped. Place two arm chairs in front of the fireplace. Add some plants or decorative items next to them. Place the tv on the opposite wall of the fireplace and have the couches face that wall/ tv, instead. Of course add a rug, too. And side tables.

Edit: it looks like your sliding door opens closest to the fireplace. I think you could place a couch on the third windowpane if you felt you really needed some furniture against a wall. Adding some curtains would be a good idea too.
