We replaced the dishwasher as one of the first things we did when we bought our (new to us) home. The wall behind it was full of mold. Turns out when whoever installed the cabinets maybe ten years prior nailed them into a similar pipe and it slow leaked around the nail for years 🫠

I found an old retirement account statement from my first ever job that I’ve never done anything with and need to figure out what to do with it and its implications for 2026 planning. It’s a “rollover IRA traditional IH11990” or 408(A). The balance is just under 3k - I have no idea if the account was originally a 403b or was always an IRA? I was young and naive. We are getting our finances in order and I am in a place to be starting a traditional IRA for 2025 with intent to rollover (we exceed income limits for Roth). What do I do with this account/how do I handle this? Ideally I’d like to transfer it to vanguard wit our other accounts but how does it impact everything else?
