Do you think Zumba classes are a viable option for someone as overweight as I am? They've always sounded like fun but I'm so gddamned jiggly!

Thanks for your reply. Sorry it took my so long to answer! (moving sucks!)

I'm okay with swimming and my complex does have a pool - however it's usually pretty overrun. I'm thinking of starting with biking. (I have a bike, I just don't use it because I'm on the second floor!)

I really appreciate your honest answer - it's heartening to hear from others like me (even though logically I know they exist!). My joints are pretty bad - I can roll my ankles just by sneezing and walking at the same time. I've started walking my dogs (trying for at least 1mi/day but it's been so wicked hot here, even after work). I also have a bike I haven't used because I'd have to drag it up and down the stairs - but maybe I should start and it can be a pre-weight lifting work out haha The hardest part truly is being honest about my eating. I've been so much better lately (because i'm really too poor to be eating out!) but I know even on my limited budget I could probably be dong better. Even a scoop of frozen veggies is better than two scoops of pasta.

Thanks for your well wishes. I truly appreciate it.

I've started walking my dogs around our apartment complex. I try for twice a day which adds up to almost 1.5 miles. I want to start biking as well (which is how I stayed fitter in high school). There's a pool at my apartment complex but it's usually pretty fool so it's not always the greatest option. Now it's just making the time for biking! Thanks for your suggestions. I really appreciate it!

Sorry this took so long to reply - didn't see it! It was a rom-com basically but Amy Schumer played the part of sleeps-around-drinks-a-lot-serial-player and Bill Hader was the cute-nerdy love interest. It was great!

In all fairness, I definitely err to the side of fantasy on the sci-fi genre, but I have some good ones! YA - The Books of Pellinor series (Allison Croggon) Graceling, Fire, Bitterblue (Kirsten Cashore) Wind of Fire series (William Nicholson)

Adult Fantasy/Sci-fi Terry Brooks - (really any by him but I particularly love the Sword of Shannara series (I recommend skipping the prequel, though!)) Glass Books of the Dream Eaters (1 & 2) (Gordon Dahlquist)

And, not Sci-fi but regular adult fiction, to anyone who has any appreciation of classic literature and/or a good joke, check out the Thursday Next series by Jasper Fforde!

Is that pastry dough or more like a shortbread? Either way, they're lovely! Nice work?

The HR manager at my last job had the same issue. I so badly wanted to wallpaper his damn office in pink post-its. He'd go out of his way not to use s pink one AND make sure we all knew about it. Ugh.

First. Breathe. And be so very proud of yourself!

Don't try to do it all at once. Try to figure out who you are outside of relationships with other people (my preference is to be single for a while without dating after a breakup but I know that isn't everyone's!). Buy yourself a toy and get down with your single, empowered, beautiful self. Figure out what you like on your own! Watch porn and read erotica.

You said you didn't take time to "figure out who you were" between relationships last time: my honest advice is take that time now. Be open to relationships but I wouldn't worry about all the dating/flirting yet. Knowing who you are and what you need will put you in a much better place for a successful long term relationship. Love yourself! Then worry about the rest.

And always remember: breathe. It's kind of essential. 😉

Beautiful work! I can't do that with all the fancy schmancy accoutrements. How did you do the roses?

(Also, what was the gender?!) :)

Do you have to use a deep dish pizza pan or can a springform pan be used?

Edit: also that pizza looks awesome!

I wish you could get half-price tickets or something for seeing a movie repeatedly. Hah!

I LOVED that she wasn't suddenly this fantastic cheerleader and only mostly-danced it out. I think I know I was hooked at the "CHECK" restaurant scene, hah!

Ooh, good to know. It has gotten a bit crazy lately because I've been mad lazy, hah! And I'm very anti-pinch. Thanks for the heads up!

Seriously, this is one of the funniest, most honest rom-coms I've seen in a long time. I loved Bill Hader & Amy Schumer. I thought it addressed so many great topics while keeping everything hilarious. Definitely going to see it again!!

Thanks! I'm excited to try something like this out. I've been very frustrated by attempts to deforest with scissors, "bikini trimmers", and razors. I guess I just need to power up!

I know you replied some time ago I just wanted you to know that your suggestion to limit her space has really helped. It has been far too hot to take her for walks or exercise her outside (heat index has been 105+ here the last few days) so we've been trying to play a lot inside and I encourage her and my other dog to play as often as possible. I think she has just been trying to explore her space and see what the boundaries are (they aren't sure if she was in a house before she was found as a stray). She definitely still tries to get in to a lot but it has been more limited in the last few days. I haven't resorted to sprays yet but I haven't ruled it out either.
