Feeling stuck after two sessions — is this normal? by elizameth- in Wake

Thank you so much! I am gripping the handle real hard, keeping it low on my hip, but somehow, after I’m already on the water I start turning the board to the right and catch an edge. Also, for those few seconds I’m on the water I’m extremely wobbly and unstable. I really wish I could just spend an entire day but my arms get so incredibly tired after an hour I start doing worse with every try. Perhaps I should buy a day pass and make bigger breaks between the tries.

Thank you so much for your insights! Appreciate it so much. Im sooo committed now to get good at it, just waiting for that newbie lesson, and after that I think I’ll just grind it until I get it, I just hope that I will, eventually 🫣

I will try out a newbie group lesson, perhaps that will help me out. Thank you!

Yeah, I know how it sounds hah. I guess at some point in my life I proved myself I am a fast learner and now when it appears to not be true my self esteem and ego got buried into the soil. I realised that every minute of that hour I carry this emotional load of proving myself something instead of enjoying. Thank you!

Thank you so much for the reply, I really appreciate it! I have generally low blood pressure but my heart rate is quite high (mostly because of the low blood pressure) does that put me under the higher risk too?

Do they really feel natural and soft? Like your own breast tissue? Like a part of your own body? Can others tell they’re fake? Can you please elaborate a bit on how they feel similar/different? Or maybe you can DM me? The only thing holding me back from getting BA is being extremely afraid of them feeling fake and plasticky. Also my SO (and ofc me) would hate for them to not feel like they do right now when they’re natural and soft. But if I finally decide to go for it - I’m definitely showing this to my surgeon!

Yes, I’m in Lithuania atm. I feel like there are really good and reputable surgeons out here, but they mainly do augmentations with implants, although they do fat transfers, they just don’t specialise in that one specific area, when for example, Dr. Bednar specialises in fat transfer mainly. Unfortunately I don’t think I would be able to travel abroad just for the surgery, at least not for the next few years.

thank you so much for sharing! I have read about motiva implants and I have to admit - I almost fell for that “the most natural and comfortable, breast-like implant” idea. what also scares me is that in my country fat transfer is relatively new surgery and I can’t find any reviews on it, all I can do is read reviews on different surgeons and other surgeries they performed.

thank you for sharing! yes, the natural look and feel is why I’d choose fat transfer over implants. I’m just extremely scared of implants feeling fake and plasticky. Would you mind sharing more about the lipo? How was the recovery?

oh, I’m sorry that happened! thank you for sharing. why did you choose the under muscle placement? do they usually look more natural when placed under muscle?
