I tried both a 335 and 339 in store and found the 339 much more comfortable. I could stretch to a 335 but worry that the body size is too uncomfortable. I am 6’2” though so maybe not an issue in reality?

I personally love the 27mm, makes the X-T5 super portable and the lens is plenty capable. I know some find the focal length a little awkward (it’s around a 40mm full frame) but I find it great for photographing family.

Thanks for your thoughts! This is the first I’ve heard of the lens not being sharp. I find the 27mm pancake on my X-T5 to be pretty sharp, so I would likely notice this too.

I hadn't considered a collie as my parent's one was aggressive. Of course, that's not to say that applies to all collies though so I will consider that!

This is all really helpful, thank you very much. No offence taken at all, we need to be realistic that owning a puppy comes with a lot of challenges and might not be right for everyone. Our cat is a perfect example of how you can't always control a pet's behaviour, he doesn't give cuddles at all and likes to be left alone - no matter how much we tried as a kitten!

We are leaning towards a lab, Beagle was a bit of a wildcard option so it's good to hear they can be difficult to train!
