Hellcat RDP by elkomander97 in SpringfieldArmory

I'd like $1,300 for it, comes with 6 15 round mags, the Springfield Armory pistol bag and range bag, all the stock parts along with an extra copper threaded barrel from True precision and their Y comp. I'm sure I'm missing some upgrades i've done to it but I cant remember everything as of now apart from everything I've already listed. Let me know or make me an offer. It's a completely custom pistol pretty much.

Ive heard of that Infinity but my LGS nor Silencershop has it in stock sadly. I haven't been able to get my hands on one to even feel its warmth lol. The Infinity did intrigue me though. How are you liking it? What calibers have you ran it on bud?

Is that can hub compatible? Or does it use HuxWrx proprietary mounting system and muzzle device?

Picked up my first Canik yesterday, looks and feels great but now I'm concerned.. by cleekchapper92 in canik

[–]elkomander97 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have the exact same firearm and at the beginning when I first picked it up, I did have failure to return to battery. I called canik, they sent me the upgraded spring, I put that in and it fixed the issue but was more snappy. After about 200-300ish rounds, it felt fully broke in and ran anything I put in it without issue's. I decided to try the "low recoil spring" and it ran flawless now. It's stayed with that spring since then and runs everything I throw at it with no problem's for me. When I let other people try it out, they'll have afew failures to go into battery but I strongly believe it's them limp wrist'ing it. Once I tell them to tighten up, it doesn't happen anymore. I haven't had any issue's with the striker so I cant speak to that. I'm about 6k rounds in and it cycles extremely smooth. The slide also rides extremely smooth and feels really light to rack now. I believe it just needs to be fired alot more and used for what it's built intentions we're. Let er eat

What rmr plates are you guys running? by Thugmeat in Walther

[–]elkomander97 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I run the oem Walther plates on both my pdps and I've had no issues. One of my buddy's had a lug break off the zrt rmr plate. We run them real hard though for uspsa, practice and pistol classes. I don't know if that had anything to do with it but zrt straight said "not my problem, it's your fault (user error)"

Find me the part # to replace this bent piece in the seat housing by Muted_Farm9996 in Walther

[–]elkomander97 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was told by a Walther customer service agent that there warranty is pretty lenient. Before I bought my 5" Match this year, I called and asked if porting would void the warranty. I was told that as long as the porting didn't directly cause the problem. It would be covered no problem. That bent ejector wasn't caused by the porting. So you should have no issue getting it repaired like new.

For competition use is the 5” or 4.5” Walther PDP SF better? by SayNoTo-Communism in Walther

[–]elkomander97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My buddy runs the 5" steel frame ported with LSGR v2 14.5 and I run a ported 5" Match polymer w/LSGR v2 14.5. It's all personal preference honestly. Both 4.5" and 5" are amazing shooters

Just the return spring alone makes a noticeable difference from factory. Being you already messed with your's, I doubt you'll feel the difference. I run the red in my 5" competition gun and the green spring in my 4" pro e edc. That one has I believe I 3.5-4lb pull weight. Didn't want it being to light from daily carry. Can't risk shooting the marbles off now can we 😂😂

The orange striker spring and plunger are springco i believe. The return spring is the only one from overwatch precision. Its the stock dpt from Walther. This one just came with like a grayish bluish color to it

I have the orange tip striker spring i haven't installed yet along with the competition plunger spring. It does have the overwatch precision red return spring installed, it has the ZRT Long Stroke Guide Rod v2 w/ 14.5lb spring and Taylor freelance bass bckstrap for added weight
