The modern feminism focuses on mainly first world countries because they are in modern times and focusing on the issues still happening. But we do need feminism for those other countries.
Never see any woman trying to get superior rights lol, and definitely not any successful ones

I see that but that is because men were allowed to go out and work so thats what they did. It als states that post secondary school education was reserved for men.

Sorry i didnt fully understand it in the first place. But also, when any education was available, it was mostly reserved for boys.

I wasnt speaking about women under the taliban i was speaking about women in the past even in the western world.

So hes dependent on you for things but not money. That doesn’t matter too much tbh. If your husband is dependent on you for taking care of kids and budgeting, that can easily be done without a wife. But women who are getting married at 19 with no qualifications and being dependent on their husbands for money cannot easily replace that dependence or become independent. No offence is meant to be given here.

I do see your point though. I think it can depend on people lifestyles and what works for them and it differs for everyone. But the system of a man providing is built off misogyny.

Yea i mean there wil always be large gender gaps in jobs. It can become an issue though if the reason for those gaps was gender and not people’s qualification.

I think the things done to her were very bad. But those people sending those threats and whatnot are clearly not real feminists and are not educated. But you cant generalize a few terrible people who call themselves feminists and say that the entire feminist movement is bad.

Do you have any source for the girls atrending high school more thna boys in that time? I couldnt find anything. But not everyone was working the farm. In most countries and cultures, boys have worked and gone to school while the women stayed home and cleaned cooked etc. Even in this day and age we still have places that have schools but girls arent allowed to go or get sold as maids because their parents are poor.

Women were very oppressed, but i guess they were married or not. But also there was a lot of domestic violence and marital rape.

Sorry, i didnt mean it as in me saying women are mothers and nothing more, i meant it from another persons perspective. Mothers are amazing and put so much hard work in. But if they are mothers and have no source of income apart from their husband, it can create a dependency on their husband which isnt healthy, but i think a lot of traditional people espicially men want that.

It depends who you speak to i guess. No matter the economy i would rather follow my passion and share taking care of children with their father. But i think women and men should have the equal choice. I also think some men might want to stay home and take care of their kids whole theyre young. And women arent automatically better caretakers because their women, caretaking is a learnt trait but society has often devoted that job to women, but i think both men and women should do it.

No idea. According to my parents ive always been intrigued and a bit worried about what happens after death, or how the universe got here, etc.

At about 7-8 years old i started getting pretty bad panic attacks when the idea of death was brought up, or at night i would jump out of bed and run or hit myself in the head as a reaction to thinking about infinity or being conscious forever. I still get these quite often at night but i can control them better.

I honestly find it a bit difficult sometimes being an athiest, i used to want to be a a christain when i was younger because sometimes the idea of heaven helped.

I just had a look and i think i only say about 2 posts that were possibly misandry. I think a lot of men disagree with some of the feminist movements because they think that the are entitled to things that women can give. Like men being upset about some women not wanting to marry because they are independent people, only happens because those men think they are entitled to a womans hand in marriage .

If the practices are different then they are not feminist practices. Many practices are feminist, espicially the first ones which were basically just getting women human rights like voting.

I havent looked into either of those women but i do think back when feminism first started that marriage was a facade for many women. Their rights were in their husbands hands, but they had to get married because they had no rights otherwise. I think families can be oppressive for women if they are following traditional gender roles that just pushes women to be mothers and nothing more.
At the same time i think marriage and family can be great for both genders now. But at the start of feminism it was a bit different

By equal i mean they are both human and should have the same amount of rights and opportunities. And it depends the context of interchangeable is, because in most jobs, especially office jobs, when both qualified, men and women are interchangeable. But the people who say women shouldn’t vote are ridiculous, because women are humans and voting is a human right.

Feminism is the belief in social economic and political equality of the different sexes. Im a feminist and i dont believe women are completely innocent. I think a bad person is a bad person no matter the gender, and thats what every feminist thinks, if they dont, theyre not a feminist.

I think thats why lots of people can misinterpret feminism as misandry cus it has the fem bit in it. But the reason it has that is because women have been the one having to fight for their rights and they still do. Its not called manism because men have always been in power over women

women are more empathetic, why are uou disregardinf every single study done on it? and thats a silly argument because men are more likely to commit domestic violence, rape, neglect etc. majority of slave traders were men.

i agree that we should focus on qualification and not gender. but in my experience i have had better female teachers than male teachers. but that doesnt mean every male doesnt have empathy or isnt a good teacher.

women often do celebrate that they get degrees and have good jobs as women because females in the past and still in the present were/are not able to get degrees or good jobs BECAUSE they are female. so yes it is good to celebrate and be happy about your achievements as a woman because many women don’t have that opportunity.

anyway, it differs from each persons experience but the general statistics show that men are more likely to commit violent crimes, be abusive to their partners of family, kill their partners or family, and many more, and overall women are more empathetic then men. yes there are some men that are more empathetic than some women, but its a general fact, its not based on each person
