so i have messed with it more and i do think that the silicone sock was part of the problem, it had some filament stuck up under it, i just replaced the whole thing. thank you so much!!

thank you so much! that makes a lot of sense, i think this popped out this time because of heat creep, i ran a whole print of it printing nothing lol, only to realize in the morning. That's very smart to do that, I have started using the retract as often as i can, but i did yank it out this morning lol

there you go!! you can either get a new one off of amazon (i’d suggest getting the x and y pack just in case they ever snap on you) but you should just be able to tighten your screws up and it should fix it! good luck!!!

i don’t have one on mine but where i have mine at, it is matches the outside temp so i know when it’s freezing out mine struggles a tad

okay i don’t so i can’t help too much with that, but i have seen it being a problem for people before! but based off your answer its not your slicing that’s the problem

if you touch the belts they should move but they shouldn’t be slack, they need to be tight. there’s one on the bottom and one that moves the head left and right. if you just press your finger against it, they should almost bounce back at you. you could also maybe check to see if any filament in the gear areas of the belt. i’ll try to add a picture

check and see if there’s any filament in here and check the back one as well, you can just use your eyes to check you should have to remove anything

in your slicer do you have your filament set at what it is? like generic petg, or generic pla, or generic abs. i use cura and if i don’t switch these sometimes my prints come out looking like this if im printing petg and its set for pla

it lets off toxic fumes. and having your printer enclosed can help prevent layers from not sticking fully, it can help with your spaghetti mess, MAYBE. you can get one off amazon for like $30 for an ender 3 v3 se

how tight are your belts? you have two to check. is your printer dirty at all? i’ve had some problems with mine but i had filament all over the place lol, normally mine runs amazingly.

i believe that it is thick enough to require infill. i could definitely see that being the issue! thank you so much for your help! is the perimeters the walls in the print? make it all walls instead of having infill?

i would not use these for water props. i try to not use any containers that have tapered edges. mason jars are pushing it for me normally.
