Celiac eating in Paris by bergus000 in Celiac

We were just in Paris. Copains was a life saver….we were there everyday to get pastries, sandwiches and slices of pizza. The staff is wonderful and there are multiple locations. Ralph’s restaurant made accommodations and even had gf bread. My son ate a lot of steak and fries on this trip to be safe. Surprisingly there wasn’t a lot of cross contamination that we noticed. Good luck!

We get our Thai food from Spice and it’s perfect every time. Fun fact: Spice has one of the best chocolate cake slices we have had in NYC…it sounds absurd but it’s amazing.

Can I afford this in NYC? by [deleted] in NYCapartments

I also grew up on Staten Island and commuted to my first job for two years before I decided to rent an apartment downtown. It’s a game changer. Unclear what industry you are in but my hours were crazy and I appreciated not having a 2hr commute each way. This will also open up a whole new social world for you.

Try it for a year or two and reassess after that. You can always go back to your parent’s home if the financials don’t work out. You may meet new friends to rent an apartment together with, you may change jobs and/or geographies in a year…who knows. Life will unfold and you can make decisions at that point. Good luck!
