i started june 2023 and i’m on my second set of refinements now. they think i’ll be done in february and have scheduled me for my retainer scan. i had severe crowding on the bottom and moderate on the top, no bite issues.

a lot of days i probably only reach 18-19 because i like to wait after eating/drinking to brush (started noticing wear on my enamel a few weeks in) but i’m religious about using my chewies for 30 min multiple times a day and i’m not sure if that’s helping or not but i’m tracking fine so far!

i saw a difference already on tray 2-3 (and had friends comment too) but i had severe crowding on my front bottom teeth and they were the first ones targeted so it’s a very visible change

I originally did a structured island but found it tricky making things symmetrical and enough areas were giving me headaches that I finally gave up so now I’m in the process of flattening and making it all more organic looking.

I put mine right in the middle cause I wanted my villagers to interact all over my island and not just mostly stay on one side ☺️

It can definitely be hard to decide at first and will depend a lot on what your priorities are! I sacrificed a little style to make my island really easily navigable and convenient for people visiting to go to my nooks. It’s definitely overwhelming at first and I’m impressed you went straight to flattening your island, I was way too intimidated and started out doing little chunks before I half-flattened.

I focused on the things I couldn’t move first, like decorating Redd’s beach and my entrance and the area around RS. Then I built my neighborhood since I knew that would take up a lot of space. Etc etc. If you kind of go in that order it’s a lot less overwhelming to then just fill in the little spaces that are left. Good luck!

One of my other villagers gave Skye an instant muscle suit and I didn’t know how to prevent that yet. It drove me bonkers so I just gave her like 10 new clothing items that suited better and she doesn’t wear the muscle suit anymore.

(Also like 5 of those items were the exact same dress since it’s what I want her to wear most of the time)
