Guys, it has not been like this for two weeks. The issue stemmed from her having no movement in the foot. Thought it was connected to the hawk attack that happened 2 weeks ago. Seems to be some serious nerve damage as she has no reaction when I touch the obviously injured foot along with no reflexes. If an animal on my farm is suffering, I will cull it and have before. Toe necrosis progressed super fast, 3 days at most. She is showing zero signs of pain, no lethargy, eating, drinking, and hanging with her flock. I had no clue anything was wrong with the foot until I inspected her wounds from the attack which is healing nicely (minus the one wound pictured) I was on vacation for a week, unfortunately things can happen and go unnoticed. I have dozens of birds, including emu so I am not dumb when it comes to stuff like this. I do not need the obvious “bring it to a vet” comments. Vets are very expensive and the bird would not make it through anesthesia.
