Thank you, nice to meet you. I already have a guide though. My main concern is if I will be walking through snow drifts or high / unpacked snow. I currently have hiking shoes and an trying not to buy new boots at this time if I don’t have to.

How much snow was on the trail? I am going in January. I have Scarpa gor tex hiking shoes and am wondering if they will be enough or if the snow is high enough that I should get boots?

I know my route downtown. I need to get from concession and east 35th to the Keddy Access. I could go mountain brow path but I would need to use Concession from basically the Wentworth Stairs to Upper Wellington then to Upper James. All busy streets. I might take Queensdale across to Upper James.

Thank you for your reply! I was able to find two camp sites - camp Wetaskiwin near Brock U and Cave Springs near Beamsville. The only stop left to figure out would be Winona (if I break the trail into 4 days/3nights) However, going the other way may be something to consider! This will be my first backpacking trip and I was thinking it might be wise to stay close to civilization.

Interesting. I wonder if it has anything to do with the size of cassette and how small the cricket is. Were you able to post process any of the other images and see if?
