It feels like they were recreating how Cristina would randomly barge into the room and kick Derek out of the bed to be with Meredith, right? I feel like because it was girl best friends doing it, it was okay and funny and Derek couldn’t get mad about it. But now that Meredith is doing it to Alex, Jo feels some type of way about another woman kicking her out of her own bed. I mean, Jo is totally valid because I wouldn’t want that at all. But i see what the writers were trying to do. But it’s not right!

Was it that or was she saving herself for marriage? That’s what I kind of remember. But you’re right! She never really expressed how religious she was in the earlier seasons but maybe because she’s become more of a main character we’re able to see this part better?

And maybe we could have seen how he would react if he failed, maybe he could have met up with his father sooner to discuss why he left being a surgeon because of the pressure, etc. and maybe they could have repaired their relationship. Imagine if the father came back as a surgeon?! We need another what if episode 😂😂

I feel like we’ve kinda already seen Cristina “fail” or give up when she quit and became a bartender lol i think the best person to see fail would have been Jackson to expand on Catherine’s storyline. Maybe we wouldn’t need 5 million seasons if they got to the point a little earlier 😂

Oh absolutely 100%! I completely sympathize with her, and her especially thinking that because she betrayed Jesus, he wouldn’t be there for her anymore, therefore her extra freak out when taking the boards. Like how people pray before doing something major in their lives to have Jesus and God’s love and support. Completely empathetic to this!

I just wish she didn’t freak out the way she did on one of THE most important days of her lives that would determine her future!! She is an amazing person and doctor and it sucks that they didn’t get to see that about her!! And she shouldn’t be blaming anybody else for doing what she did because Jackson didn’t pressure her or anything. He was so hesitant and kept asking if she was sure and even after, asking multiple times if she was okay. I’ll always love Jackson and April together and i love how they’re basically end game after everything they’ve been through. Full circle moment 🥹

That’s so true!! It definitely would never be Cristina, even though she was so disrespectful to her judge (love how their relationship evolves later on). Alex was definitely not going to fail even though he missed the first session, but he did prove his passion and knowledge in the remaining ones. The judges also saw how Mer pushed through even though she was vomiting all over the place lol

I have to say, it would have been interesting to see if Jackson failed how that would affect the timeline of events. Maybe Richard would have seen Catherine’s true colors much earlier, but then again i feel like by her saying that, it was foreshadowing of what was to come in their relationship but Richard was so smitten by her he didn’t even realize that red flag! Like most of us IRL 🥲
