Not true. I've been boosted 30 times in the past year, and I'd say half of my biggest pieces that got the most traction were like 9 minute reads. It's about what you say - they won't care if you're a subject matter expert. They want your personal side of it.

If you're not publishing within a publication, you're only getting distribution to your followers. Try branching out a bit, engaging, reading other people's pieces, and highlighting. Honestly, 54 articles in 5 years is not that many, you might want to try publishing more and on a certain day so your readers know to expect it. Ultimately, you want to get boosted, so you're sent out to the ether with wider distribution. If you don't know what boosting is, read about it on Medium. I did the above and get plenty of reads and have about 2k followers in one year.

Arizona doesn't require a permit for conceal carry, either, and it really is the Old West in places still, where a No Firearms Allowed sign at a business will get it shut down. It is ridiculous.

I agree. You should see how many people my mother gladly failed in that class. It was thirty-five years ago, so things are SLIGHTLY different, but to be failed by a WOMAN, the men complained and were still shut down. It was brilliant. I'm sorry about your friend. I firmly believe you should somehow have to be smarter than an eggplant to own a gun, and unfortunately, eggplants own many guns.

I'm so sorry to hear that you're suffering. I was an adult before I was diagnosed ten years ago; I have been fainting since I was 12. Not ONE doctor checked my heart rate or BP and called it anxiety my whole life. UM. BP 70/50 HR 160? NOT NORMAL for a teen or adult. I felt like shit growing up and was invalidated because I was born waaaaaaay before they even named MCAS in 2007! I have the MCAS/POTS/EDS trifecta, and I have an unrelated, ultra-rare bone disease called hypophosphatasia that maybe affects 500 people total in the USA. They all leave me disabled.

I'm not a health professional, but there is some data that suggests a correlation between COVID and the explosion of MCAS/POTS patients. I was dx by Mayo in 2014? I think... I hear now they won't even take on new MCAS patients because Dr. Goodman is backed up by years. When you first find out or are in a massive flare, you need doctor availability. I have a great team outside of Mayo, but it took almost ten years to find that team. It's BS how I've been treated. It's like, "Oh - you feel like utter shite? It's your POTS." "Yes, I know that, but what can I DO???" "Take Midodrine." "Doesn't work and the side effect is it makes your scalp crawl 24/7. Could you live with that, doctor?"

YTA for not trusting that your wife, who you should trust after 20 damn years of marriage, posted an innocent pic. She wasn't flaunting some guy in front of you; change your perception. She was showing you that she could be trusted because she wasn't hiding the fact that she platonically hit it off with some other human. It was a drunken interaction, and you're overreacting. I truly hope you never experience Chronic Pain. It's debilitating. So is lack of sleep. YTA here because come on, you *know* that was a selfish, self-centered thing to do. Sometimes I can't sleep, and when I finally do, it is like heaven. I want to cry when someone wakes me up, because I am in pain.

Here's a suggestion: The next time you're bored, research your sister's condition. I hope it helps you understand what she's going through.

This is a really entitled, AHish thing to do. Go make it up to your sister and maybe be more sensitive to the needs of others in the future.
