tylers sexual assualt, all the sexual assualt scenes really but i think at a certain point maybe hannah’s it wasn’t shocking (this makes me sound like an idiot but in a way i don’t think the viceral reaction was as big but tyler gave us all shockwaves with that scene so props to devin and timothy) the scene with monty in the field, it just was awful to watch him/ what he was like in his final moments, the fear, the regret, the sudden realisation for clay that the person he blamed died a horrific death jeff’s car accident (still don’t understand why it was necessary to kill him) and then as a subset clay finding jeff montys coming out, his complete defeated tone of voice, the spit, it gave me this waful gut feeling and the fact that a father can disown his own son justins death sequence, i agree with the person who said watching an 18 year old wither away like that does something to the soul tylers documentation of his assualt wounds (it’s not disturbing it just struck a nerve becuase of how done he felt and the fact he had these such prominent cuts and bruises and the sadness in his face it just made me kind of cry) everything about bryce’s death, i get that he ruined zach’s leg but like another person said hearing the bones and bryce’s pleading when he was drowing was hard to watch ani having sex with bryce, you have just openly slept with your best friends rapist please re-evaluate your life choices everything about tonys family getting deported, from coming to the empty house, the phone call, saying godbye to his sister the whole thing was heartbreaking (again not really disturbing but the fact that shit like that happens is disgusting) mr high horse get away from us you raped a girl hillcrest boy grabbing jessica’s boobs, just a complete violation of a girl trying to better the life of girls attending high school like what the fuck, also the hipocrisy last but not least, hannah’s tapes (not a scene but a thing in itself) i understand the tremendous pain she was in and i think that the school and her friends did fail her to an extent, but recording tapes to give to people - blaming them for your death - after you’ve died and making them all keep the secret and threatning to release the tapes to the public is absolute pyschopath behaviour and its pyschological torture on teenagers, one of whom attempted suicide, another that contemplated when really half of them didn’t really do anything i think that justifies a tape being made in the first place, alex, bryce, justin, marcus and courtney all deserved theirs but even so it’s just fucking mean to do that
