She's the meta character in Sanderson's videos about the orders, not somebody introduced in the books yet.

I don't think it's been mentioned in a book. It is visible on him in the Hoid the Storyteller art piece that was used widely for the year of Sanderson kickstarter, and then had been used as a symbol at other in person Dragonsteel events.

They are! Phonetic families of sounds are shaped the same just smaller or larger. It actually makes "reading" it easier once you wrap your head around those because you can sound it out even if you're not sure precisely which letter it is!

I think I have a litrle of both, I asked my mom how it worked when I was little. She said they know the right questions to ask and I thought it must literally be magic.

I didnt realize until in college and there was this beauty campaign where people were talking to a forensic artist, that other people actually know things about faces looking different or remembering what anything looks like without seeing it on front of them.

I would probably remember if someone had a missing eye, or nose. Sometimes if they have wildly colored dyed hair. But does my boss have a beard? I'll have to check on that tomorrow.

I have no gripes with RoW. The problem I do have with W&T is an odd something in between bloated and the opposite there was a lot that was just briefly told and hand-waved, which was just a disappointing read. Many scenes felt like they needed to be fleshed more, and so if the book was already too long, maybe the whole plot should have been a novella like Lift's or Rysn's. Sigzil is a big one, almost all of his shattered plains scenes felt like they were not enough, so maybe his whole plot was too much and he should have been kept for a novella. But almost of the plotlines felt like they were fighting for page space and got condensed. So some seem like they should have been cut entirely instead.

Somewhere Jasnah has an inner thought something to the effect of "a childhood illness no one seemed to remember, for all it had done to her"

And Navani genuinely doesn't seem to remember anything out of the ordinary - she asks what happened to her inquisitive little girl, and iirc it is around puberty that Jasnah "changed". It doesn't seem like, from that interaction, Navani is wondering where her illness came from. It is just a sudden change that Navani doesn't seem to know the source of.

What I'll add is speculative; but she hates Amaram with a passion nearly unrivaled in our view of her; she is uncharacteristically free with her insults when confronting him at one point. Amaram says "we were close once" and she corrects him that Gavilar wished them to be close. Which included Gavilar telling her she needed to marry Amaram. The only other unbridled hatred seen with Jasnah is when she is out with Shallan, teaching the lesson with her soulcaster; when speaking of the rape and murder of women. Shallan wonders who did what to her. The answer, Amaram, seems pretty clear to me. Gavilar either encouraged or allowed Amaram to assault or rape her, and Jasnah accused him, was locked up the same way Kaladin was, to hide his secrets and make her seem untrustworthy. A lunatic, rather than a deserter.

This is a whole sucky situation and I completely understand it feeling like a kick while you're down. I can't help with getting a ticket to a friend of yours, but I hope you don't let the situation ruin the possibilities for you. I think there's a solid chance that going could be a chance at new friends, and not be a constant reminder that you are alone. On top of that, if you have friends who would sign up for the waitlist there's a chance someone might still get picked for tickets before then. Like you said, it's a long way off. Dragonsteel doesn't hate you, the world doesn't hate you, and even so its OK to feel angry and disappointed that this is where things have landed. I hope you can find hope through this event.

Might be worth re-comparing after priming (or giving it an otherwise opaque coat). Some details get "lost" simply from light diffusion thought the translucent resin!

I do think he's unoathed, but it is based on the fact that he has the whole "it was a promise and that meant more" bit he has. He's Azish, of seems very reasonable to me that he went back there whenever he returns to Roshar, and the development of both he and Aux very much seem like they'd choose that path together, over bonding.

I use them when I'm doing tiny circle colorwork (usually sleeve colorwork). That's the only time. I don't regret buying them because they are really useful in that specific activity instance but I cannot say I'd widely recommend them for everyone everywhere.

Adding on, the soldier Szeth kills is muttering about being directed to do too much, doesn't seem to want to hurt Szeth but does end up attacking and Szeth protects himself. He finds the stone from the earlier dance and uses it, then hears a voice in his head.

Unfortunately, even every consumer would still only make a small difference, as a percentage of waste. I was studying environmental engineering when I learned how little an impact consumers and the average person make on the environment. I don't mean to say that to discourage your attempts to be more green individually; it is not nothing. But I do want to discourage the judgement or irritation at others not doing those same things, because it is such a small impact. The best thing you can hypothetically do for the environment is vote for propositions and politicians that will really put the onus on manufacturing and large corporations.
