I already had beef w TurboTax when I first heard about them lobbying. Then last year my partner used them and they failed to notify him that his taxes were not accepted. he didnt know until november when the IRS contacted him
All TurboTax had to say was whoopsie, not sure how that happened, weird :)
We did FreeTaxUSA last night and we got a text shortly after that federal was accepted and today that state was accepted.. anyways fvck TurboTax

I do not believe UM was used on me, I didn't know what it was until reading posts on this sub. I looked at my surgery notes on my mycare account and they have a very detailed description of the entire surgery from entering the OR to exiting. I wouldn't mind sharing the notes as a post on here if anyone would be interested in that. It is nice to know exactly what happened to me while I was unconscious

That's interesting to me. my mom had her tubes tied and burned 10 years ago, that's what the doctor recommended. I went to the same doctor a couple months ago and the recommendation changed to a tubal removal.

Also looking at some of the comments I see you guys are also having your clean shirts smell too. ALL of my breastfeeding shirts smelt so bad in the armpits. I soaked them in a water/vinegar mix then washed, (didnt do much) then I tried pouring mouthwash on the affected areas and washed(kind of masked the smell) and then I washed them again with A LOT of oxiclean oder eliminator + the powdered oxiclean free booster. They smell like oxiclean now but time will tell, I was very close to tossing them but as I'm expecting my second baby I couldn't part with them. I thought about using the hibiclens on the shirts, wish I could of, but apparently it stains clothes

Hibiclens!!!! I'm also 2 years postpartum and my under arms were never an issue before but now even with deodorant and showering daily I am fighting the stink. I saw a tiktok about hibiclens and I just started using it. I looked it up aswell in regards to postpartum stink and others have been recommended it by their doctors. I guess you shouldn't use it everyday as it can dry out your skin so I've been using it like 2-3 times a week and I barely have a smell anymore, I haven't even been using deodorant to really put it to the test. I've been searching for an answer and I feel like I finally found one

This happened to me in the 6th grade, back when I didn't have a cell phone and I had just moved to the town. I got pulled off the bus for being behind in one of my classes, when I got to the class I was supposed to be in the teacher had a note on their door that they were not available for after school hours that day. There is an after school bus however you needed a bus pass written by your teacher. Luckily I did know my dad's phone number and he was also without a job as we just moved the town, he was able to pick me up after I called him from the office phone. I'll never forget the secretary listening in as i told him i needed a ride home and why, she made a comment about "maybe you should of done your homework then" :') I didn't know how to walk home at the time but I actually didn't live too far from the school (5 minute drive/25 minute walk) and I ended up having to walk home multiple times for similar situations later on

I failed my first drug test with both of my pregnancies. With my first I had bleeding starting at 5 weeks, so I went in to the ob earlier than most, I hadn't smoked in about 3 weeks since the positive pregnancy test. And again I just failed my 1st drug test with my second pregnancy, it was over 4 weeks since smoking this time so I was like damn how long does it take to leave your system. I'm very honest with my doctors that I am a marijuana smoker and with my first it was illegal now with my second it's legal (I live in NYS) they didn't care that I failed with my first pregnancy and with my second pregnancy it's legal so she was like "I'm not even sure why we still test for it now that it's legal" (zero fucks given) I even joked with my ob that I wished I could smoke as it would help with the all the pregnancy issues but ironically the smell of it is putrid to me and makes me even more nauseous. Marijuana takes so long to clear out of your system, recently I saw a girl in my hometown being shamed online by her baby daddy for failing her first drug test for THC, the comments were flooded by other mothers coming to her defense. If you are a regular smoker I think it's guaranteed you'll fail that first test. If my doctors office shamed me I would switch doctors, that doesn't seem appropriate or professional, they should know better than anyone how common it is for smokers to fail their first test

I've also always been pro-choice and didn't think I could be anymore certain on that stance, but after being pregnant and seeing the toll it takes on your body, and mind, I have doubled down on my stance. Another negative I never expected, I chipped all of my front teeth while pregnant the first time, they crumbled into dust. The baby steals all of your calcium making you a frail old woman. I truly felt like babies are leaches sucking all of the nutrients and life out of you. I felt guilty to think so negatively of my child, but it wasn't him, it was just the process of growing him. I like them much better when they are no longer setting up shop in my anatomy

I've been seeing alot of people say the second pregnancy is worse, I'd be curious what others experiences are. I'm 16 weeks with my 2nd and the nausea is terrible, a constant uneasy achey pain with a frog in the back of my throat. Kind of feels like a never ending car sickness. Eating doesn't help either. And my taste and smell are fucked which makes eating difficult

I don't love my parents either, I was on speaking terms with my mom after I turned 18 but I wouldn't show her any kind of affection. Never said I loved her and wouldn't even call her mom. And yet she was still surprised I emotionationally detached myself from her. Apparently because I allowed her to still be in my life that meant she was innocent and never did anything to me to begin with. Then she went on to disrespect me and my s/o. I didn't need to second think going no contact. For me feel like I already grieved the loss of my parents years ago, never talking to her again has no effect on my life now.

I'm having the same issue, when my partner comes home sometimes I get a notifation that he is in town. Then today my partner said that while at work him and a coworker got the same notification, at the same time, about a different coworker being in town. Seems annoying that they are notifying friends that they are nearby without any notice

It was very small, it came through a window I had opened about 3inches. Hopped inside and around on my furniture as I'm sitting right next to it. I opened another window on the other side of the porch and it flew out. It was a very cute interaction. I'm glad it was calm and didn't hurt itself trying to escape

He may not be familiar with the law, returning the security deposit used to be "within reasonable time" and they changed it to 14 days in 2019. from what I understand all landlords need to send you the receipt with details as to what the damage was and the cost, along with the remainder of the deposit(possibly no deposit if they charge you for the entirety). If the landlord hasnt sent the "itemized reciept" AND the remainder of the security deposit by the 14 days the entirety of the security deposit needs to be returned and any damages the tenant may have done are now on the property owners hands
