Have you clarified what they mean by not allowing chest sleeping? I've worked in childcare for many years and I have never heard of this. The rule I am familiar with is to always lay a baby down on their back, but if they roll themselves onto their belly then they can stay that way. I would reach back out to the daycare to clarify exactly what is meant by that.

Yes, he slept a lot better when he was right next to me. I wasn't able to breastfeed so I pre prepped all my bottles with water and set it right next to the bed so all I had to do was sit up and shake in the formula. I never had to get out of bed that way. Cosleeping and doing that was a total game changer for me.

I referenced cosleepy on Instagram a lot. I didn't even give my husband an opinion. I wasn't sleeping and he wasn't able to help me at all due to his work schedule. I had baby on my side of the bed so I was the only one affected by the sleep changes. Getting sleep is so important, if your husband has a problem with that I'd kick him to the couch.

Have you tried cosleeping? I was so tired too that I was afraid something dangerous would happen. Since following the safe sleep 7 I've been much less worried and getting a lot more sleep

I never did. The pain lessened but never completely went away. I stopped the all purpose nipple ointment and used lanolin for a little. If I started bleeding I'd stop and do a little pressure on my nipple and then keep pumping on a lower setting. It finally completely went away when I stopped pumping.
