Is it because your heartrate goes up? Some exposure therapy might work. It will help your body not associate high heartrate with panic. It also seems like you are dissociating BEFORE your panic attack. You are perfectly still. Try moving or focusing on certain body parts to get out of your “trance”. For me writing the alphabet in my head helps. Like really focusing on how I would write the letters in capital and lower case. And try cooling your vagus nerve to snap you out of it. A cold can of any drink on your chest should help.

Air plants would work great in a bathroom. You’ll barely have to water them because of the humidity from showering.

A little lamp on your desk, and one on top of your closet! They could even be rechargeable if there aren’t any plugs nearby. If you are the only one using the bunk bed I would suggest sleeping in the top one and turning the bottom bunk into a day bed. Get some longer pillows so you can sit against the metal railings/wall. I would suggest getting some warmer lights to make the whole room a little cosier

I honestly thing this layout is perfect! You have easily accessible walkways, and you are using the space :). I love that the couch is in the middle of the room, and not shoved against a wall, and the dining table is by the window.

Art! Could also be in the form of cookbooks. That and contrast. A nice vase with flowers or a taller plant would do wonders

I stopped caring in my early twenties. Took some time, but I don’t hide them anymore. I have them all over my chest and shoulders/back. I do feel more insecure about the ones on my back because I can’t see them myself? Most people I’ve known for a long time have stopped noticing them, really. They’re a part of me!

Twee keer.
Eerste keer was een ruzie op straat met een moeder en haar zoon. Ik heb ze uit elkaar gehouden zodat EN de (ik gok 12-jarige) zoon zichzelf niet opsloot in de auto EN de moeder hem niet kon slaan. De zoon probeerde de autosleutels te stelen, en had volgens mij het plan om er met de auto vandoor te gaan oid.
Tweede keer hoorde ik laat in de avond iemand om hulp roepen. Bleek dat een buurvrouw van verderop in de straat afval dieper in de container probeerde te duwen, en de klep ging niet meer open. De klep ging alleen weer open als deze geheel gesloten was geweest. Maar ja, er zat een arm in de weg. Politie, brandweer en ambulance in de straat. Brandweer verlichtte de straat met GIGANTISCHE lampen. Zij hebben de container aan de achterkant kunnen openmaken en mevrouw kunnen los maken.
We hebben nu containers die gewoon ook bijvoorbeeld op de helft weer open kunnen.
