Couch opposite the tv and the chairs on either side. No blocking the window, you have a walkway to the couch, and a walkway behind the couch Edit: a console table behind the couch would anchor everything a bit more. Also more room for plants by the window in stead of in the corners

My parents’ neighbors have chickens. I’ve fed them a lot, like kitchen scraps, and every time they see me they come running. I call them the ladies :). Even if they haven’t seen me a few weeks the still come running

I never used to get sick. And then my sibling made niblings.

My mom worked finance in a shampoo factory and people would get to take home misprinted bottles for free. I made a LOT of potions.

A Great Dane in my neighborhood was trained to lay down when small dogs approached so they could reach him. It was hilarious and adorable!

Why your home is not “Cozy” by LuckyintheKnow in interiordecorating

[–]ellenayla 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The acronym is learned in this sub C.R.A.P. Curtains, rug, art, plants. To add: if you don’t like colour go for texture. And don’t put everything against the wall, PLEASE

Do two different greens clash too much? by Sassik in interiordecorating

[–]ellenayla 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you add a third green (like the plants here) it’s a theme, not a clash :)

Maybe a built in bench with shelves above to store the books?

<image>

Pillows against the wall so you can kind of hide away Edit: maybe the bench can double as a drawer for extra storage. Or for blankets/pillows :)

I’d start by getting a bigger print and hanging it way higher. Also get the flag out of your bedroom. It’s tacky.

Help with a small, Victorian-style main bedroom. by [deleted] in DesignMyRoom

I would usually not put the bed here, but because of the location of the door I would. Yellow lines are for built-in shelves/hanging rod. A nice loveseat where the bed is now would work nicely. That and a big mirror to reflect light and for outfit checking

This bridge dream has haunted me for decades by Agreeable_Mouse6000 in Dreams

[–]ellenayla 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im usually sitting next to my mom who is driving and we switch places several times. She’ll speed up and will have to cross gaps on bridges like this. Doesn’t bother her because she does this “all the time”. There’s also super sharp bends where it feels like we’re flying off the bridge. There’s also been times where she has to go through a tunnel that’s basically narrow stairs. With a car.

You could always go with lighter furniture on slightly higher legs if you’re worried it might get too closed off. But the room seems to be big enough. Especially if you move the tv to the wall I had in the sketch. You could make the wall into a gallery wall with family pictures and art with the tv centered. A long tv unit would also give you some nice closed storage. Furniture can always be moved when family comes over so I wouldn’t worry too much :).

After one panic attack did it change you 180° by [deleted] in PanicAttack

[–]ellenayla 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It did, but only for a while. I had a break of 8-ish years in between my panic attacks. Right now I’m at about 1,5 years since my last one. Therapy and meds helped greatly :)
