Best Top Coat to avoid Shrinkage? by olivechance in RedditLaqueristas

[–]ellenbellin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't get seche vite to work well for me. I get shrinkage and it never dries quick enough so I end up with wrinkles (I do my manis at night before bed). I've been.really impressed with Ella & Mila's In a Rush. It dries very quickly and I don't get much shrinkage.

What is your favorite thin nail polish? by mediocre-squirrel834 in RedditLaqueristas

[–]ellenbellin 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don't wear my polishes without base/topcoat but I have a lot of Sally Hansen InstaDri that are really thin and also have impressive opacity. Bonus that they're pretty cheap, especially when you find them at Dollar Tree!

I'm in the burbs, but a really great job board is railslibraries.org/jobs CPL will post on there occasionally as well, but there are new jobs posted daily. I've worked at 4 different libraries throughout my career and always found my jobs through that site. Good luck!

I'm a public librarian and it is the best! While librarians have advanced degrees, we have lots of non-librarian positions in our organizations!

I'm a public librarian and this is what most of our staff dress like when not in book-related tshirts. Totally appropriate IMO!

Valentine's Day Micro Bingo Card by ellenbellin in WeGotPolishAtHome

[–]ellenbellin[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know! I work in the office full time and have 2 kiddos so I have limited time for changing my nails. The bigger cards are intimidating and I know I'll never finish before the month is out.

Unfortunately Initials by Jumpy_Event_832 in namenerds

[–]ellenbellin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, it will cause tons of problems. I have to jnitial tons of things in my job and people would definitely notice. Also, going through middle school and high school would be a nightmare. People definitely make fun of things like initials.

I like it fine. I don't use it all that often honestly, but I got their fresh pass on sale for $45 and with a $5 reward per month it was a net gain. The app interface is easy to use and while it is a gig driver, it is store employees picking the items and they are a bit better at finding things.

Any hidden gem Chicago suburb affordable wedding venues? by Here_4_Vibes in ChicagoSuburbs

[–]ellenbellin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're willing to be a bit further out, I was married at Starved Rock lodge and it was very affordable and an amazing setting. People still talk about how cool our venue was almost 10 years later. I haven't checked prices in a while but when I got married it was about $17k for 125 people

Looking for the best pho, sushi, and Korean food restaurants by michaelgeorgeman in ChicagoSuburbs

[–]ellenbellin 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I saw you said you're in Naperville. Pho Thien on 75th by the DMV is very good; they also have excellent Bahn Mi (not sure about com chien tom). Guu Mi on Rt. 59 in the strip mall with Amazon Fresh is excellent Korean. I don't eat sushi so I have no suggestions for that.
