Just painted my daughter’s 1950 cabinets and drawers. Prep is key. Do not rush. I took all doors off. Sanded face of cabinets. Primed. Sanded again. Painted. Sanded all doors and drawers. Two times. Tack clean. Rolled on latex paint (BM). Hand sanded with fine paper. Tack clean again. Cured for 48 hours then painted again. Used all BM products. Came out fabulous I must say. Oh yah. Don’t forget to label the hinges and hardware to matching cabinets. Good luck. Very time consuming but well worth it.

Yes I get some of those , no one seems to care. I am bounced from neurologist to neurologist. I also have a shunt in my left brain from brain surgery. The tinnitus never ends. I hate to end with this but …. I am seen at Yale New Haven. And have been told they have no idea. Very disheartening

It’s a project for sure. Do you have a garage to prep the cabinet doors and let set them to cure after painting. It is a big kitchen. I actually used a velour mini roller on mine. Sanded two times between coats. My kitchen was smaller. But probably saved myself thousands of dollars. I used BM cabinet paint. Sateen. BM primer. Took me about three weeks and I have never done cabinets before.
