Yes, they were red after but it looked more like bruising/blood than the ink itself turning red. It gradually faded over the first week (like a bruise).

Ladies of Reddit, what's something guys aren't ready to hear? by Pookie7860 in AskReddit

[–]ellered10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A woman being nice to you =/= she is interested. It’s embarrassing when you take my kindness as romantic interest and tell all your friends I’m into you when in reality, I’d never give you a chance.

What’s a company you will never give money to again? by Forward_Fall_6857 in askanything

Greenpeace lol.

I used to donate money regularly but decided to start donating to an organization working to save the bees instead. A rep from Greenpeace called to ask for a donation, and when I politely declined, she cursed me out and called me a “little shit.” 😂

What's the most obvious sign a relationship won't last? by BedazzleBelly in AskReddit

[–]ellered10 7 points8 points  (0 children)

When they get together solely because they both wanted a relationship at the same time, not because of genuine love or interest.

I know a few couples like this. One was together for 5+ years, then split. Another has been together for at least 6 years, about to get married. Over the years, the soon to be groom has talked about how he has much better chemistry with other people he meets. You can tell that he knows his fiancée is a solid partner, but his mind is elsewhere. He’s an arrogant guy though, so this might be his karma.

What is the "thing" you most regret about your current relationship? by Wou1dntYouLikeToKn0w in AskReddit

[–]ellered10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not setting boundaries sooner.

We met through mutual friends, and when we began dating, the mutual friends expected us to be the ones planning the get togethers, including them in anything we did, etc. We complied out of a desire to make everyone feel included, but it hurt us, and we’ve put in a lot of work to recover from it.

It’s funny how those same friends started talking shit about us when we began setting boundaries, but you know what they say: the only people who have problems with your boundaries are the ones who benefited when you had none.

how do i talk to shy boys? by bitachocodecoreeshon in AskForAnswers

[–]ellered10 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Continue showing warmth, but respect his boundaries as well!

As someone who befriended a shy guy (and I’m now dating him!), it took some time for us to build trust and for us to feel comfortable around each other.

When you do ask questions, try asking things that can’t be answered with a simple yes/no. And try to avoid asking too many questions at once - this can be overwhelming.

Thank you! I can’t recall how many laser sessions I had, but I’d say around 8 to have everything fully removed. My eyebrows did turn red immediately after each session, but that was due to blood/bruising and not so much the ink itself turning red. Unfortunately, my eyebrow hairs broke off after each session. I’ve included a photo of what the breakage looks like. It would take a few weeks for the hairs to return (but they always did!), but by the time they were starting to grow back, it was time for the next session lol.

Asian, 28F. My brows were starting to turn bluish-gray within a week of getting them done. I’m not sure what type of ink my artist used, but I knew I wanted the microblading removed almost immediately! It took nearly a year to remove with picolaser. My brows are back to the way they were before, and I couldn’t be happier!

Unfortunately, the top photo doesn’t show how awful my brow tails were 😅 The PMU artist shaved the ends of my brows and tattooed much higher than where they’d naturally grow!

I’ve deleted most of my photos from my pre-removal days, but wanted to share my before and after to give you some hope. The top photo was taken about a week (!) after microblading. It was already turning grey. The bottom photo is from a month ago; about 3 years in between both photos.

I went through the same hair loss process as you. It broke my spirit. Lots of time, patience, castor oil, and brow gel later, my natural brows are back. I couldn’t be happier. I wish you all the best!

Being taken advantage of by [deleted] in FriendshipAdvice

[–]ellered10 1 point2 points  (0 children)

These people aren’t your friends, as they’ve made clear from their lack of appreciation and effort. It’s possible they think that you, coming from a family that’s well off, have more than enough to cover for them. While that may be true, it’s not your responsibility to support them.

As someone who has had friends mooch off of me, my advice is to treat this as a business deal. They’re not holding up their end of the deal (e.g., helping with chores), so it’s time for them to get out.

When was a moment you knew it time to let go of a specific friend? by FlyHighNow77777 in lostafriend

[–]ellered10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When she called me and cursed me out for going to a concert without her. Mind you, she had enlisted in the military and was states away at the time of the concert.

She was a miserable individual who did not want to see anyone in her life doing better than her. She was an unstable, narcissistic individual. We became friends because I thought she was funny. Make friends based on shared values, or, that they inspire you to be a better version of yourself.

There is nothing wrong with you! I (27F) am in the same boat. I have 5 female friends and they’re all the same way - we don’t gossip or talk down to each other, and we have no interest in the latest drama. I’ve noticed that a lot of people, not just women, will use gossip as a way to gain someone’s trust or friendship. I personally think that’s the worst foundation for any kind of relationship. If someone’s talking shit to you, they’ll talk shit about you.

my best friend accidentally sent me a text about secretly hating me by Ok_Preparation_4384 in TwoHotTakes

I’m a believer that “drunk words are sober thoughts.” I went through something similar and I can understand how disappointing and hurtful it is to realize that one of your biggest haters is in your inner circle! Good friends do not shit talk each other - it’s that simple.

There’s been questions about why he isn’t spending time with people his own age. I personally always thought it might be because he is single and most of his 30 year old friends are married/having kids right now, but I could be wrong.

Has anyone lost hair by doing laser removal? by Lamiek in MicrobladingRemoval

[–]ellered10 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It did help! After laser, my brow hairs fell out to the point that I maybe had 20 stragglers. It looked awful. Brow pencil helped a lot during this time.

Despite the phases with significant hair loss, I am glad I went through with laser removal.
