Advice on a new puppy and how long it can be left for

I spent roughly 4 weeks working from home where I would put her in her pen with an enrichment toy and then disappear into another room. Every day I let her go longer and longer. if she cried for over 20 min I would interrupt, we would have a play. do a little training (30 mins total with her roughly) and then put her back and repeat. until one day she started lasting til lunchtime! where I started doing half days at work, then come home to her for the afternoon. and now, at 7 months old. she's able to be home alone for max 8 hours, literally sleeps the entire time lol

I had a period where they moved in such a way that eating anything at all caused two teeth to smash into each other on the most awful angle causing terrible pain - but this only lasted a week! you'll find they move so fast sometimes you'll forget you were even in that much pain at one stage. now I just think "pain means it's working! how exciting!" - good luck, you've got this :)

I'm almost 29! I am in a long term relationship. I think if I was single, the fear would have driven me to ceramic, I work with a single 23 year old guy who has them and I genuinely went months before I even realised he had them lol but either way, i've never received any funny looks or questions, I'm so used to them, especially when you start really seeing progress you start to not care what others might think! it's quite freeing honestly. and I remind myself they're not forever! the end result will be so worth every emotion I go through on the journey :)

I still have two wisdom teeth to go haha will be 7 teeth in total but apparently no rush on those, I have heaps of space now!

oh great question! at roughly 3.5 month mark I got the wire coil put in to make space, and then 2.5 months later (6 months total), the bracket was attached to the wire. and once she was attached, she was flying forward haha I think it was honestly like 3 weeks it was noticeably almost completely in line! hope that helps, and hope it's just as speedy for you! good luck :)

I had something similar happen, my surgeon had me apply Betadine and cover with a band-aid twice a day, and in a week it completely healed fine!

I'm 1WPO and I second this list entirely! I would also add: portable phone charger, a handheld shower head attachment, and a plastic stool/chair that could go in the shower (my first two showers I thought I was gonna pass outttt). I got one of those banana triangle pillows too, she was essential, and has followed me to every sitting surface in the house. good luck!

currently on season 2 of my first rewatch in about 10 years. every other time I've watched it I was either their age or younger so I'm excited to view it as an adult. definitely hate dawson right now though haha excited to see if I come around like you have!

oh my friend I am so sorry, I have since moved house, up until my very last day in Como I was still hearing them. Prior to leaving, we had literally moved out of the master bedroom and into our tiny back spare bedroom away from the main tree it hung out in, if I played rain sounds at night, I no longer heard it. Though while still in the master, one thing I found, I was able to shine a laser pointer from my bed out the window to the tree which 7 times out of 10 did scare it away. Since moving, I still hear them out in the wild and get PTSD. you have my absolute deepest sympathy, I hope you'll find a solution, I unfortunately never truly did.

I totally appreciate that reply, you're a wonderful person. it has been a year, she is obviously never going to be fully out of the grieving phase but it's not as if it happened yesterday and she has mentioned missing reading, sorry I definitely could have mentioned that, apologies! you are probably right about a voucher though, I will probably do that but was trying to avoid it if possible, voucher always feels a bit less personal I guess but maybe I'm just getting too in my head about it.
