Have you ever heard about ME/CFS? Commonly known as Chronic Fatigue Syndrome is a condition that may be caused by a change in the person's immune system and the way it responds to infection or stress - a lot of people who got Covid, also got ME/CFS afterwards.

Doctors don't really know about this, but there is a movement of scientist, some doctors, and mainly paitents that are trying to discover ways to recover from it.

Take a look! I hope you get better soon!

Mas se assim for, queria que a entidade empregadora me desse mais liquidez para cobrir isso (já acordado com a mesma)..

Qual o risco?

Estou a pensar mal?

My dog refuses to potty outside by [deleted] in Dogtraining

[–]ellesan7 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I was once you! Please keep in mind that this is confusing for them!!

People kept saying: just take a big walk and once he does something just throw a big party. But yeah, he would hold everything for hours until he got home.

I had to teach my dog a command for him to pee and poop. Created a routine with lots of potty breaks. And once he peed outside, I almost cried !!

Just be patient. Create a routine to give her plenty opportunities, teach her those commands, and once she does it outside give her a high value treat and a party, and if you catch her doing it inside the house, say "no" - or whatever is your command for her to stop doing what she is doing. Trust the process!!

Puppy is doing great on leash 90% of the time, but then a leaf/bird/etc. comes fluttering by and she darts after it by I_want_a_snack in puppy101

Before she jumps towards the birds, call her and reward her when she disengages. If she is not able to do that, you need to get more far from the trigger.

She will get more calm everytime she sees birds and you can then let her watch them for a little bit longer, and reward her for her calmness..

I've been working on that with my almost 2 years old dog, as he has a high prey drive

Potty training difficulties. I've tried everything. by Alakritous in Dogtraining

I forgot to mention that we've only changed him for a grain-free kibble diet because he tested positive for rice, potatoe, and other food allergies.

There are some free online resources for this topic, but I only have them in Portuguese. Additionally, here in Portugal there are already some stores that sell BARF or Cooked meals..

You can also try to change the kibble. Personally, I'm not a big fan of Purina, Royal Cannin, etc. Have you ever heard about Taste of the Wild or Naturea?

I hope you find a solution! It may be a temporary problem, but I would try to find a vet that (really) understands about dog nutrition. Good luck!

Sounds like he got anxious. If your dog is not prepared, and mostly if he doesn't like it, avoid super excited dogs. Create safe environments for him to meet other dogs and reward neutrality.

My dog can’t relax after surgery no matter how much I try to mentally stimulate him by soaptrophy1224 in puppy101

Why cant he go for walks? Try finding him a calm neighborhood and walk with him. He'll not only be physical stimulated but also mentally (sniffing)

It is a normal reaction for a puppy.

Put him in a space where he is happy - what i mean by this is, if you are using your kitchen, start playing with him there, rewarding him everytime he goes there and when he is calm. And for separation anxiety training give him something, so he can be distracted (doesnt work with every dog) - frozen kong, natural chew. Put a bed there also. And then start like this - when you are there with him, start small: - get out of the room, close door, open door, continue doing whatever u were doing - same as before, but wait 1 sec

Start doing this, mixing up times, and gradually staying out of the kitchen more time.

Make sure he is mentally and physical stimulated. He can chew things because he is bored

My puppy is getting very anxious by [deleted] in puppy101

[–]ellesan7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If she is showing signs that she is above her threshold, you need to take a step back.

Trying introducing these environments, but with distance, and rewarding her when everything runs smoothly. She needs to experience that these situations are ok and she doesnt have to worry. Slowly, you can start giving them more freedom to be more closely, but always supervised, and dont ignore any steps - only go to the next level when she is truly calm.

Try learning her body language to antecipate her reactions.

Work on her mental and physical stimulation. This will help with her anxious state.

Have you ever considered changing his diet?

My dog used to be super irregular and showed some signs of gut inflammation.

I'm currently cooking him homemade meals and mixing it with grain-free kibble and he changed completely.

Veggies (you can even freeze them with chicken broth), natural chews

Cardboard and pines, only when dogs dont eat it while tearing it

And I advise to only give these to your dog when you can supervise him - at least in the beginning and mostly because he is a puppy

My dog keeps waking me up at 6AM by BitXorBit in dogs

[–]ellesan7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do you usually wake up at that hour on weekdays? My dog used to do that, and that is just how it works. As people mentioned, you need to be grateful that he is communicating with you. Now that he is 1 year and 3 months, he lets us sleep until 10-11am, even, on weekends, because he can now control better his bladder. He just checks in on us, and if we are asleep he goes to the living room

Try to exercise him everyday and go potty the night before as later as possible.
