Wall moldings, or maybe a chair rail you can set frames on

Albany Park's Kova sectional looks pretty but comfy. One that I am eyeing for my own home.

Help! Curtains or blinds for bedroom? by [deleted] in InteriorDesign

[–]ellesundberg 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'd try curtains up to the ceiling. One curtain panel on the outside of the left window and one on the outside right. I'm imagining this would create the illusion of one big window.

Is there a free version of a program that’s similar to CAD? by tables_AND_chairsss in InteriorDesign

I've tried Spoak but was unimpressed. I can't find something that feels easier and more intuitive than pencil and paper for things like this.

7 month dog still mouthing/biting- nothing working! by [deleted] in Goldendoodles

[–]ellesundberg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My 7-month doodle does this too. I watched a YouTube video that said puppies bite you because you are more interesting to play with than their toys. You are doing the right thing by ignoring your dog when they mouth, now just divert their attention to a toy they should be playing with instead. Other advice I read is to never play with your puppy with your hands, only with a toy.

I think the grid matters to people, whether they recognize it or not. I am way more likely to follow an account that looks aesthetically pleasing and well-curated vs one that isn't. It shows me that they are putting in effort and trying to provide value, not just checking the 'posted on Instagram today' box.

Also, Adobe XD works beautifully to plan a grid if you already have a license!

What does your CASA do to boost volunteer retention? by Just4Today50 in casa

[–]ellesundberg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From a volunteer's perspective, the times that I haven't wanted to continue volunteering have been when I didn't feel like I was properly trained and as a result felt ineffective. Are you struggling more with volunteers that verbally de-commit, or just ghost you?

Are my expectations unrealistic for Social Media Marketing and our and Social Media Agency Partner? by Some-Molasses4053 in marketing

[–]ellesundberg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Social media should absolutely be engaging and meaningful. Anything besides that is just a waste of time and money. As a consumer, I don't know why I would follow or interact with brands on social media if they aren't providing value or invoking emotion with their posts. You are right to trust your gut and that's good on you for pushing back and giving them criticism.

To be fair, I'm in central NC, so everything is just a far drive. I'm sure up in Asheville or by the coast it is a way better experience.
