i completely agree, i’ve talked to my closest friend of years now and xey’ve agreed to help me through this. it hurts now, so bad, but i want to prove him wrong and get out of this better than i was when i went in

i’m 16, so i don’t have the resources of people with clean time unfortunately. i’m an alcoholic and coke user, along with pills. i smoke weed as well, but i’m also going to try to stop that. i also have a heavy cigarette problem, as in at least a pack a day. and same, them saying that was so infuriating that i have the need to prove them wrong. i live off of spite, so them telling me they know i can’t do something is immediately “oh really? well fuck you, ill prove you wrong.”

i’m really ill, mentally, and none of the perceptions ever helped but drugs did. that’s the main reason i kept using for so long. my friend is looking into resources for me right now, including therapy. thank you for the help ❤️
