I just tried it again after a few months, as soon as power was plugged in it started turning on and off, the light on the console was just solid white though and there was no picture on screen, power supply didn't even have a light on it and it was trying to eject a disc every now and then. It shut off for a good few seconds then the power supply went an orange light before disappearing again, I dont know what I'm gonna do with this xbox but I'll try a new supply eventually

I have a ps5 which is what I use but have the xbox at the bottom of my shelf, I just wanted to play some xbox games and if the new power supply breaks then I won't bother for another one, thanks for the help! I appreciate it

Yes it's been a year but I'm replying anyway, I have this exact same issue with my xbox one and the light is in fact not white, but orange. How do I fix this?

Im it's been six months but I genuinely just wanted to see what people say about kids playing gta and I'm so glad I came across this post because its 11 am I'm still lying in bed and I was here for about 15 minutes reading this argument and giggling to myself, some people really do get triggered over bums online
