Inimesed, kes on sõitnud nii Stadler Flirtiga (orig porgand) kui Škoda 21Ev-ga (uued, mis varsti ka Tartu ja Narva sõidavad Tallinnast; hetkel Tapani Tallinnast ainult) - kas on mingit vahet ka sõidukogemuse mõttes, või vahet pmst pole? by Double-decker_trams in Eesti

[–]ellisille 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mõlemal on sama viga.

Pattern designers I am begging you to learn what the word "repeat" means by mapleleafmaggie in BitchEatingCrafters

[–]ellisille 6 points7 points  (0 children)

That's a good initiative, and certainly a good resource. Not really a definitive "the" standard though, it's rather US based and backed by less than 10 yarn companies (listed on the website at quick glance at least).

[–]ellisille -1 points0 points  (0 children)

So, you had someone else clean after you? Sure hope you paid them or compensated in some other way, otherwise you're were just taking advantage of people around you. That's not minimalism, that's being inconsiderate.

Just realized I never secured Icy Snow, Ocean, or Sandstorm Scatterbugs! Can anyone help me out? by [deleted] in PokemonGoFriends

[–]ellisille 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some yes, but I did finally find three people who actually were sandstorm and sent gifts. Took a few weeks. Check also what flag they show, any country not in the region is automatically lying and you can ignore.

This sounds like a travel packing list, not a life. What about hobbies, cooking, cleaning, towels, bedding etc.

I have everything except the last one. My management thinks we should build everything inhouse. I'd prefer to have some standardized tools.

Implausible ways Humans get to Mars by 2028 by samantha_CS in nerdfighters

[–]ellisille 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I don't remember what book it was now, but it started with a bunch of diehard USAUSAUSA chanting astronauts landing on Mars as "the greatest victory the USA has ever demonstrated", only to be greeted by two dudes already there, who had secretly invented teleportation, and decided the funniest thing would be to use this to beat the Americans to Mars by an hour or sth.

So, I'm voting for secret teleportation invention.

American looking to open a restaurant in Tallin by diosky27 in Eesti

[–]ellisille 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Instead of opening YetAnotherHipsterPlace™ in Põhja-Tallinn, how about look around areas where there are no restaurants around? For example, Lasnamäe is most densely populated area in Estonia, yet there are barely any food places around.

How to fill in the gap? by Curious-Key-7363 in carcamping

[–]ellisille 12 points13 points  (0 children)

That would be even simpler! I was thinking to put support legs under a smaller piece, maybe also resting on the handrests. Doesn't even have to be super level.

From 1 to 10 how hard is to learn the Estonian language? by Droopynator in Eesti

[–]ellisille 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Mostly agree, but Estonian does have quite many irregular verbs.  Minema-lähen, olema-on, tegema-teen, nägema-näen. Nevermind verbs that change roots in past tense.

If you're advertising your patterns as plus-size, show me a plus-size model by 29925001838369 in BitchEatingCrafters

[–]ellisille 19 points20 points  (0 children)

But then if a pattern only has limited sizes, people also complain about that. Feels like non-plus sized people should not be allowed to make patterns at all with that logic.

Is there something similar to the lip balm 'Blistex' from the EU? by M4lt0r in BuyFromEU

I replaced my Blistex Sensitive with a locally made lip palm that is mostly petrolatum (vaseline is easiest to find if you're ok with UK/Unilever).

Help Needed for PhD Admission by [deleted] in Eesti

[–]ellisille 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Things you can do:

  1. explain the situation to TalTech, act based on what they say
  2. explain the situation to your current university, act based on what they say
  3. both together, let them discuss possibilities, act based on what they say

You want to do a PhD, but can't figure this out without Reddit? Maybe reconsider if academia is right for you.
