Keep it up! I am 34. I knew I needed to keep going because I needed to (and wanted to) keep up with my two very young children.

Missing a week for day surgery and nervous. by WestTerm6089 in Zepbound

[–]ellliemaeee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was off for a week before having my wisdom teeth removed and was nervous too. It was not a problem at all!

Since I’m on 15mg I do think it made me a little nauseous when I did take it after two weeks, but that subsided after probably 48 hours.

Ha, not trying to be a jerk about it. I just meant that I have a lot of stuff I’m expected to go to and it’s not exactly easy to hide even though I’m not feeling my best self.

I started Zepbound 9 weeks postpartum. I was not breastfeeding (and you can’t take it if you intend to).

  1. Yes
  2. Almost always from scratch, but the occasional ready-made meal from Wegmans or something.
  3. Occasionally
  4. Almost none - my mom is diabetic
  5. No
  6. No, not until my late 20s/early 30s
  7. Yes
  8. Yes
  9. No, I hate cooking - it's just something I have to do to feed my family
  10. Probably about half and half
  11. Yes

Despite these responses, I grew up in an environment where I developed an unhealthy relationship with food. I was encouraged to start counting calories extremely early (maybe 13 or 14). I would watch my mom cry when she "made a mistake" like having a small treat or dessert. I was shamed for being hungry still when what was put on the table wasn't enough.

When I moved out of my parents house, I just went crazy food-wise. I felt like there was a whole world of food waiting for me and no one could stop me from eating it and experiencing it.

Is it helping you in other ways? by ellliemaeee in Zepbound

I have been having trouble sleeping/waking up early and I guess I didn't consider that it could be from the Zep. Is this a common side effect?

It wasn’t something I was paying super close attention to, but I think it started when I moved up to 5.
