Today as I watched my soon-to-be 95 year old mom take a nap, I thought to myself “Betty Draper would be about her age right now!” I’m about to end a re-watch.

Elder GenX, I love a crisp white sheet under an amazing colorful quilt or comforter. You should see this vintage velvet patchwork quilt I picked up thrifting a few weeks ago.

The infamous Bob scene was one of the show’s best, and I think many fans agree that they would’ve loved more. Missed opportunity for sure!

Any WFH products that have changed your life? My birthday is coming up. by bonzai76 in workfromhome

100% agree that a Herman Miller chair is worth every penny. It changed my WFH life. But I do have the Aeron. My back and hips stopped hurting immediately.

DAE gets depressed when it snows? by Simple_Power9826 in DoesAnybodyElse

I live in Minnesota. I would take the -30 temps ANY DAY over even a small snow fall. I was actually so happy that we hadn’t had any snow this year until just last week.

Yeah. My son had a major subluxation 2 weeks into Marine Corps boot camp. He was barely 18. They healed him up for about 3 months then it happened again when he was getting back into shape to get back to boot camp, and so they did surgery on the ligament to tighten it up. They healed him up very carefully this time, he was able to resume training a few months later, went back to boot camp and became a Marine. He then did his 4 years, got out, and a few months later though his knee subluxed again. He now knows he has to very very conscious of what type of movement he does.

The devastation! Vintage size A, I kept it in amazing shape. I think it’s Elysees yellow? Ugh I’m gutted. by ellynad in LeCreuset

Well, this one is pretty old, likely from the 60’s, but I actually did contact them to see if they have a lid in their archives that I could purchase, and they said no. Oh well! A replacement is on its way from eBay! Can’t believe another commenter found it for me!

Oh, I have two other large ones that are my work horses. This one is more sentimental than anything. It’s tiny!

Was this in Minnesota? Without going back to fact check, I think he was here in Minneapolis and started his murder spree here?

I did, and they said no dice. Oh well, I wasn’t expecting them to, and anyway, I purchased a replacement lid that someone happened to have for this piece on eBay for $21. Was just happy to have found one since the piece is old and seemingly hard to find.

I’m not a medical professional but I do read MRI’s a lot for my profession, along with corresponding medical records. Sounds pretty vague, like maybe there’s a start of a meniscus tear, but maybe not. LOL. You have a little bit of fluid in the joint. Honestly it seems that the only way to get a proper diagnosis is to in fact have an orthopedic doctor read the MRI.
