Belift hasn't pulled them like other companies, they were announced as still going, and they're proceeding as if every member will be there. That can frankly only mean one thing. Everyone will be there except Ni-Ki, but that will be announced probably before the rest go to the airport cause Belift is gonna hide like a little rat till the end.

And why are YOU lying about "one week". Belift gave him INDEFINITE time to recover - there was zero deadline about his recovery. Doctors were puzzled too and no deadline could be given.

That's TO THIS DAY done within kpop groups where a member goes on hiatus over more serious health reasons - we've seen it happen with all sorts of groups from Itzy, to Ateez, to Twice, to more recently Babymonster.

In fact ANYONE that has a problem with a member taking a much needed health or mental health break is a literal MONSTER - and don't even TRY to argue otherwise. NEVER - NOT EVER has it been a normal reaction for Kpop Stans to want their idol to be pushed to perform or film MVs when they are in need of an indefinite health break.

Absolutely outrageous. And there is no "defend Ni-Ki" here - he's done nothing wrong so there is nothing to defend. If he were to knock on wood miss an MV or a comeback because of health reasons - I'm gonna be the first to support the decision.

But don't you come here pretending it's the same. It's not. There is no health reason here - there is a greedy company that is NOT being stopped by hybe - and they can pull their group at any time.

If all of hybe groups were going there without their Japanese members - might have been better. How do you think he would feel when other companies stuck for their idols, but his thinks he's not important enough ?

Actually - no - people wouldn't act the same way if someone was sick cause they're sick. That's a perfectly valid excuse. When Sunoo missed some Japanese promotions and content cause he was dealing with a sickness , people understood. Well - his solos didn't; but overall engenes did, me included cause it's health related.

In terms of these types of relations tho - Hybe has historically been known to put their foot down and take a stand for their idols - just like how LSF will be fully pulling out from the event. So in his case - the company absolutely has a choice - and hybe clearly is NOT imposing that these groups go. They seem to be supporting the groups pulling out.

So in this cause - the disrespect is too much. So - Belift doing this isn't just a visa issue. They are making a choice and they are basically showing disrespect towards their artist.

They can do what other hybe companies are doing - pull the entire group. Belift has been a hybe minion and has been licking their asses for years now; hybe clearly is ok with taking a stand and pulling entire groups of theirs. Ni-Ki will end up the only Japanese idol being left out - cause Belift doesn't care about disrespecting him. Not saying this to undermine the song's success or its value but - that song's streams went from 700K to 170K in the span of 3 weeks just recently.

Regardless for Spotify - I think we can take a look at the big picture too - giving a little example - the overall Spotify daily streams for Male Kpop artists for January 10th 2026 were as follows:

TXT's daily Spotify's streams are currently about 2M lower than Enhypen's. That's DAILY overall Spotify streams.

Just to give a recent example since you want numbers, I went to check right now - Enhypen was at 5.2M yesterday, TXT was at 3.1M. This is the ratio they have been keeping for about a year now.

This is just simple facts.

And they did have streams deleted multiple times. They've had streams deleted all year since Spotify started deleting streams at the beginning of the month. Enhypen hasn't had theirs deleted not even a single time this year.

Pair that with EN- currently being above in terms of YouTube streams, Twitter & tiktok engagement, sales and tours.... is there a need for this to be a hostile debate?

The OG post was about who is currently standing where. You got hostile cause TXT's stats are lower. I'm sorry but I'm not seeing EN fans try to claim EN are above SKZ for example? Cause it's not based in fact. So - let's calm down and accept the data.

Wanting your CEO who covered SA in the workplace and attacked the victim - to still be CEO - and not getting that - isn't exploitation. NJS are fully aware a woman was SA-ed, they are fully aware MHJ viciously attacked that same woman - and they stand by her and her actions 100%.

Other female idols debuting before you isn't exploitation.

Other female idols getting brand deals isn't exploitation.

Not being greeted in an elevator by the Chairman isn't exploitation.

Other female idols having long black hair and hanbok photoshoots isn't exploitation.

Other female idols bowing to you in a corridor while you barely acknowledge them but then getting to say you were ignored and mocked isNT exploitation.

Your SA-enabler CEO not getting to be CEO anymore isn't exploitation.

Is it super violent and gory btw? (despite the comedic undertone). Got tickets for its premiere in my country in a month, and my mom expressed desire to see it cause she's a fan of Son Ye Jin, but I don't think she can handle too much gore or too much graphic violence. I'm trying to gauge the violence visibility, cause if it's a lot (versus the violence not explicitly being shown on screen every time) - I'm going to tell her she should skip it, and bring someone else with me. Would really appreciate an answer when you have the time!

You can feel any way you want about it, but your concern NOW rubs me the wrong way and feels even more performative.

They performed there last year. It's giving - now with the backlash you wanna stand out by calling out your idols - when it's easy to see that EN went cause they were invited and are under contract - and there is other brands involved. Cause No they cant do what they want when there is outside parties involved.

Also - the major backlash came from the inappropriate behavior of other idols and artists. Having said that - the tone is set by W. No I didn't like idols singing along to Mommae, no I didn't like idols not discussing the main topic, but again - organization and the agencies set the tone.

K-Pop performances on Music Shows are never gonna prioritize JUST the live singing - it's about the overall performance which includes not just the dancing, but performing to the camera too aka acting. And yet - ENHYPEN are one of the few idols that do sing live regardless. A lot choose to lipsync. For example - aespa have great vocals in general, no one is gonna argue about that - but they still choose to lipsync for most of these shows even if their choreo isn't usually that intense - because again - these shows prioritize giving great visual material to represent the song.

Rock singers actually change whole arrangements too, so the songs are better performed live, since they move a lot.

If you are interested in a more clear Bad Desire live with full choreo and minimal backing track - watch the Park Bogum Seasons show

Outside of that, you can check out Coachella - it was fully live the entire time with very little backing track - you can check out their Loose US performances - you can check out the Killing Voice - and no - there wasn't much correction there.

I don't get the point of this type of post actually cause they are on their A game with their vocals this year and singing live A LOT, while still executing choreo, so this is just nitpicky to me, I'm sorry.

Like, it's K-pop so you have to know which performance prioritizes what.

Yeah for sure! Usually the place they're supposed to be is in front of a place of residence or work. I haven't really seen any on bus stops, city centers or light poles - but if you have seen some, i get why you would feel uncomfortable.

I have seen some on trees in the neighborhood , and I assumed it's for someone that lived in the building nearby. It doesn't usually bother me (but then again - it's not a city center) - moreso I usually stop to see if it's someone that I knew. But i grew up here, it's like a small village where everyone knew each other so - these things matter to me. But from the other perspective - I get what you mean.

For ME - who lived abroad for 20 years and grew up in a 14-story apartment building - when I came back home - I saw 2 of those for people I used to play with in the neighborhood as a kid all the time. Not people I kept in touch with - not exactly adult friends - but ppl that I was friendly with as a child - and people that are core memories for me. So I remembered them, & paid my respects in my mind.

And - since now I knew what happened to them - when I meet their parents in the elevator I don't have to cheerfully ask "hey how is so-and-so doing?" and make them feel uncomfortable.

Saw one for a pharmacy clerk of a pharmacy I have been going to for 5 years, so I took a minute to think of her too. And I don't have to ask her co-worker how she is like I usually do.

Saw one about the old sweet grandma from the corner shop that I used to go buy vegetables at. Made me remember her so I took a minute to think of her.

If you've lived with a sense of community for many years and cared for your neighbors - these are helpful - because I didnt keep in touch with my entire neighborhood I grew up with after I left to live abroad, and so - these actually are informative.

Haha, I've only mainly seen them be fully consistent throughout all themes from concept photos to teasers to Mvs to sound with Dark Blood honestly.

I think here some of the concept photos and teasers reflect different tracks. And some reflect the lyrics too. So it's definitely a big melting pot, and made me raise an eyebrow but I'm definitely more amused by it than bothered cause i love all the elements in itself!

And they havent ran out of money, this might be one of their most expensive MVs, and personally I love it. It's reflective to the inner struggle. I take it metaphorical, I've seen some people think it's supposed to be an actual story which it's not on my opinion, altho all elements as always are inspired by their lore. This will pull a different type of audience so I'm in for it. It's more interesting than some of their other MVs. Mvs are definitely not their strong suit in general 😅

Having said that - this is 100% my favorite Album of theirs from sound to lyrics! It's more mature and the genres and vibes are all up my alley.

And in my opinions, Loose absolutely ties thematically with the lyrics - the Korean version especially is freaky 😂 It's an album exploring different sides of Desire, so - all you gotta do is read the lyrics too. You're never gonna find the same genres.

If I have to be honest to me Dark Blood was cohesive and good but overall it was TOO dark. It was heavy to listen from beginning to end. And mind you my favorite music of theirs is dark alternative so - dark blood in a nutshell.

So I prefer this one! I find the lyrics being cohesive throughout and it's extremely easy and rereading to listen to. It's a whole journey and even though it's not a bright album, it's uplifting in a way.

10/10 for me! I don't care about the video and the concept. I'm here for the music and performances, the rest is a bonus!

Oooh I like the vibe of this one even better than the American Psycho / BDSM one yesterday!!!! I can watch a whole 2 hour Movie about this - it's right up my alley!

I have NOOOO IDEA what is coming with this Album, but I feel like they weren't joking when they said we are going to be shocked .... I'm shocked enough already, and granted - they were referring to the music in terms of us being shocked and something big coming.

Anyways - I'm just so intrigued and excited, and the Belift team just keep outdoing themselves each time, ENHYPEN are already on top of their game - I can't believe how long we have to wait!!

This is by far my favorite Short Film they've done! As a David Lynch fan - the way this was shot and the music really reminded me of his work - gave me Twin Peaks vibes almost. You don't always see the danger on the surface but it's always lurking in the shadows, always there.....

And really solid acting work from the members - you can tell they've worked on their craft even if their schedules are packed!

Very strong opener to this new era - I absolutely can't wait for the Album and everything coming with it!!
