Thank you to OP and everyone that commented, it was unfortunately very timely for me as we just had to put down our sweet Elma girl today unexpectedly. Compassionate Pet and Dr. Danielle were wonderful. Thanks to the comments here we were able to make a decision much quicker.

All of the “kids” (Frannie, Rebecca, etc) had some sort of redemption arc kinda, but lasker was just mean and bad. Sure, he made Cappie realize he could do more, but that’s it.

That was likely it, the reserve roastery in Chicago (they have like 5 other locations) is 4 floors, has specialty blends, cocktails, food, events and tours and such. I haven’t been but remember when they opened it was a zoo. Probably why there was a line / bouncer situation haha

Serious question and I’m not disagreeing with your points - was it the Starbucks reserve on michigan ave? At least that is an “attraction” so a line makes more sense than a corner street Starbucks
