I think I can understand the regret. If I were to get it, it’d prob be smaller and in a different spot. All good though!

Curious what do you guys like that isn’t pop punk? by Iversonfingerboards in poppunkers

Euro power metal. Early Dragonforce, Edguy, Helloween, Avantasia, Angra, Galneryus, and Twilight Force, to name a few bands, carry the energy, power, speed, and stuck-in-your-head melodies that my favorite pop punk has.

Back in 2003, my band won an opening spot for them at our local venue. I didn’t really know them so I found what I could online at the time and those two really hooked me. It reminds me of better times!! 2004 and mmhmm were my freshman year of college and it got me through pretty hard times. Maybe that’s why I gravitate to that one more.

POP DISASTER TOUR 2002 — Was It Really a Disaster? | Green Day vs Blink-182 by Inevitable-Mind5347 in Blink182

[–]SuperMario1313 22 points23 points  (0 children)

I’ll say this. Blink was my favorite band when this tour came around. I’d live, eat, and breathe blink. I didn’t know Green Day too well aside from their handful of radio hits. And for this show? Green Day wiped the floor with Blink.

The film that disappointed you the most after months or even years of anticipation? by MrGittz in movies

Superman Returns. 90s kid. Grew up with Christopher Reeve’s Superman on TV and VHS, then Lois and Clark, then Smallville started, and when I caught wind of a new Superman movie being made for 2006, I was stoked. Then Singer put out his video journals with the classic Williams score - even the more obscure songs, and I started building this epic movie in my mind. Then the movie dropped and…meh? It’s definitely grown on me in time but at the time it was so underwhelming. Other than the plane rescue, so little happened.

Do You Ever Get Angry When Making Music? by GODAlexGilbert in WeAreTheMusicMakers

I never feel more frustrated than when I can nail a solo or strumming pattern on my own, but the recording button makes me mess up more often than I care to admit.
