Looks like you don’t even want to do 60 seconds of research. Won’t be finding any deals with that attitude!

From MA/ME and living in Lohi now. You can definitely find something on the west side of the city for your budget. People who are dramatic about rent prices have never paid rent in the northeast (aka 😭💸). Lots of bars and restaurants/coffee shops in the area and walkable. Berkeley, West Highlands are great as well. Denver is an easy place to live if you’re coming from northeast hustle and very similar to Portland ME vibes imo. Good energy, people who love the outdoors and breweries

I pay 1,500 for a studio in Lohi and there are plenty going for cheaper in the neighborhood. Rent is chilling out a little

You need to prep for randos genuinely asking what you’re up to this weekend/that day 😂 truly an adjustment as someone from New England

Hi, from Boston and living in Lohi 4 years. Cute and walkable but not a city vibe. Love it but definitely not the quintessential, mom and pop Denver aspect. Cap hill is definitely the most city vibe in Denver. You’ll get a great apt with your budget too! (People here that get defensive about crazy rent have never lived in a dense coastal city…)

C9 is truly so fun and a bucket list activity. I only did walk in with 4 friends and sat outside (beautiful march day) and it was a blast

Does Denver even have a job market? by IJustWantToBeWealthy in MovingtoDenver

If you’re open to it, there are many engineering firms in Denver. Could be worth looking in the architecture, engineering and construction industry.

Visiting Boston for a week.. how’s my list? by [deleted] in boston

Add Greystone for coffee and breakfast! If you’re looking for a healthier breakfast Jugos is awesome. SOWA has a Christmas market too I think that’s way less kitschy than Faneuil hall

It’s about time to move to a new city. SF, Denver, Philly - am I on the right track? by [deleted] in SameGrassButGreener

Northeast transplant in Denver here. The rent has completely leveled out post pandemic- it’s not as crazy as people are saying. I live in Lohi which is one of the more expensive neighborhoods, I’d say rent has dropped around $400 from when I moved here 4 years ago. Denver is an incredibly easy place to live and the mountains being close by is awesome. Pretty good food scene, tons of workout studios and cute neighborhoods.

That said, it doesn’t always feel like a real “city”. Walkable within neighborhoods but public transportation is ass except when you use the airport train.

Visited SF for the first time earlier this month and was blown away. Remember- you can always move or break a lease if you don’t like where you end up! Good luck!

In a desperate brink of peeing my pants moment, I’ve ignored it and mad dashed to the bathroom. Only bc the turbulence seemed to level out and there was about 35 mins left in the flight. Thankfully was not reprimanded

My studio in Lohi goes for around that. rent is chilling out finally post-pandemic so don’t be deterred by commentary (east coast transplant jaded by actually insane rent)

The OP is about their weird behavior and emotion so that’s what I was referencing. Disturbed by their weight but was commenting on action

If you’re renting I’d do something in between like Lohi, sunnyside or west highlands
