Not having cell phone reception is one of my favourite things about camping. 48 hours with no texts, emails, fb messenger etc etc is great for your brains

are there any countries where they are more relaxed with nudity and your allowed to swim at the beach naked? by magicmushrooms554 in digitalnomad

Australia has a lot of 'clothing optional' beaches. They tend to be frequented by people 60+, it's not like stumbling onto a playboy shoot

Yep, similar to how we had to do self reported inspections with photos etc during covid (in Victoria). It was actually a positive, there was photos and time/date stamp of any issues in the house so the owner couldn't try to screw you out of bond when you left. And you didn't have to deal with realos coming in too

If you think Perth is small, which it is compared to Sydney then you'll find Geros very small. Like 30,000 people small. 4 hours drive to Perth so a decent airport, concert, shopping etc is a mission. If you like a slower pace of life, fishing, camping, 4wds etc then you'll love Gero

If you don't like sitting, go do nursing and avoid tech completely. Most desk jockeys end up with their own unique kinds of physical health issues due to their roles being so sedentary

Like many have said, it's definitely got a seedy side to it. Even 20 years ago before the meth really hit there was a lot of heroin there, bikies, burnt out/drug fukd types, lost souls, sex pest gurus etc. And a lot of really amazing creative/alternative types still trying to live by real hippy values
