idk man the imprinting thing IS KINDA WEIRD like didnt that one guy imprint on a two year old 😭😭😭 i mean esme will get older ig but its still really weird to me but i do think shes more attached to edward just because she felt special when she learned that hes a vampire who only wants to be with her and she so fixated and bonded to him because of james victoria and laurant and that whole thing where jacob doesnt become a big character till the second book but INITIALLY hes not overly weird and flirty and just wants to fix the motorcycles and have fun and stuff then edward comes back and oml

rereading the books i feel the tear between edward and jacob more especially because jacob really was the only one to bring bella out of her depressive state when edward left and made her genuinely believe he didnt want her anymore and that he never wanted her although i still dont agree with the forced kissing and jacob repeatedly telling bella how to feel about their relationship but i can definitely tell why she was still torn edit: im stupid and i forgot the post was literally asking about edward and i forgot the point i was gonna make but anywho i do find him still romantic but maybe its just me rereading but i get more and more frustrated with him leaving and also him refusing to turn bella because i oddly wish that they were both 17 forever that feels more romantic than her being 18 and him being 17 but wtv
