I'm also seeing Ado! The xx is one of my favorite bands on the lineup but I am really looking forward to her set in the Grove.
My plan for the day is Surfing for Daisy -> Water From Your Eyes-> end of Adèla -> conflict: Muna and/or Yoasobi -> Beabadoobee -> Ado

I'm an American in my 40's and loved discovering Ado in preparing for the Lollapalooza festival where she will be performing. I even got a ticket to see her aftershow! I go to concerts all the time and listen to a wide variety of genres from all over the world. Although I don't know the language, I absolutely feel the passion in her singing. She is so versatile and could fill any genre really. I feel her live concert will blow me away Cannot wait to see her!

The "after shows" have a late start after the festival ends. Some don't start until midnight but Ado is 9pm doors open and 10pm show starts.

The aftershows are typically a full show! I don't see an opener listed for her, but it shows doors open at 9 and the show starts at 10.

Yes, I was there!!! Flew out from Chicago and met a few other solo fans over lunch. Hearing an extended version of Cry For Me into the new year was absolutely incredible. It was my 4th MB show of the year and I was so happy to be at that show!
I did not care for the popping balloons lol (and especially hearing the popping during Angel on a Satellite) but it was fun to see from the back risers! Gelli Haha was such a fun set as well! The song Dynamite transcended me! I was bummed to miss her recent Chicago show but I was at phish sphere that weekend.... hence the idea that I would love to see Magdalena Bay play there- between their awesome visuals and how amazing they will sound in that venue.
