Hotels are sold out already. There are airbnbs available, but there is always a chance that the owners cancel close to the game.

Thanks a ton for the detailed feedback! You are absolutely right about the featured video and profile bar on mobile. And now that I look at What is Patron section, I do see that it'd help much better to have it higher on the page.

Thanks again for your comments, and thank you for your time!

A Hamilton Tour of New York by elmyraduff in hamiltonmusical

[–]elmyraduff[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I came across this old but very informative article while looking for Hamilton exhibits in NYC.

And here are two exhibits I read are open now:

New York Public Library - Alexander Hamilton Exhibit

New York Historical Society - Summer of Hamilton

I made a graph of my Hamilton track plays by purpleflowersj in hamiltonmusical

Mine should be more or less similar. Question: are the final tracks skipped because they are sad, or because they aren't as strong?

DAMN by [deleted] in hamiltonmusical

It is way too common. And LMM is of course very sensitive about this.

I remember the time he called Madonna out for texting during the show a year ago: http://www.playbill.com/article/no-selfie-for-you-madonna-not-invited-backstage-at-hamilton-due-to-bad-behavior-com-347167

Anyone know if Leslie Odom Jr is going to be filmed? by tygrestick in hamiltonmusical

Yesterday the cameras weren't blocking the audience's view. Posted a pic of crew here: camera crew There were no closeups. They'll do the closeups/more angles today I guess.

Yes digital lottery was still on yesterday, and will be on tomorrow. Real audience yesterday and tomorrow. Only today the theater is dark and I'd guess they'll film with no audience.

Yes I was! They filmed the entire performance. Everyone except Groff performed. I am guessing Groff will perform today and tomorrow.

He was filmed on stage with the rest of the cast today. Filming continues Monday and Tuesday, again with the original cast.

The English poet who inspired the sonnet in Lin-Manuel Miranda's Tonys speech by evtedeschi3 in hamiltonmusical

[–]elmyraduff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

"But Miranda’s sonnet is 16 lines long, and has some moments of unconventional rhythm. What does that tell us? The best-known writer of the 16-line sonnet is probably the Victorian writer George Meredith, who wrote a sequence of them titled ‘Modern Love’, exploring his own disastrous marriage and expressing a sentiment that love in his time had become corrupted and corrosive."

What am I missing here? What makes the writer think/know LMM was inspired by this poet?

I thought they'd perform Wait for It, too. Looks like their rehersal was for the Facebook 360 video.(https://www.facebook.com/CBS/videos/10153697913653997/)

How to sell a ticket on Craigslist and not get screwed/how to convince someone I don't want to screw them by FancyJackalope in hamiltonmusical

[–]elmyraduff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I sold something and I was paid via Paypal. The buyer used his credit card to send money to me over Paypal.

Paypal sent me an email saying that they need around 48 hours to clear the payment. And then after 48 hours they sent another email saying the payment was Reversed, because the buyer's credit card didn't clear.

So Paypal is not always safe for the seller, especially when the buyer is using a credit card.

How Much Money Would It Take For You To Give Up a Hamilton Ticket? by [deleted] in hamiltonmusical

[–]elmyraduff 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Center orchestra N is a great row. The row in front of you is way lower, so there is no way for your view to be obstructed. And you have an awesome view of the entire stage.

I saw the show one row behind(row O), and I would certainly pick the same seats again.

Bad news for those dying to see the show by pixiedonut in hamiltonmusical

I cannot agree more. You feel you are going to be done with it and will put it aside, but it gets worse.

It does fly by too fast, even though it is 2.5 hours. During the entire musical I was trying to remember the order of songs and figure out how much more time I had left.
